I got the SMS above from my internet provider (WiMD) earlier today and it has to be the most horrible Arabic translation ever.

how is your internet mark?

mine is still shit. i get 0.02mb during the day and only from 3:30am until 5:20am i get my normal speed.

mine was completely dead half the day yesterday. this morning it’s working but speed test to a local server got me 2Mbps instead of the usual 10. but hey at least i have internet.

Funny message, they should change the translation software.
My line works just fine, strangely I had no issues at all, even when other people were complaining about drops in speed weeks back. (I`m on Gulfnet 5Mbps line and my torrent dwld speed is constant around 600KBps).

Zain, Mada, Ooredoo… All working like dial-up from 90’s… It’s even worse then dial-up, there is no sweet old modem connection sound :S trrrrtuuuteetrrrrttttttrrrrrrrrrrtt… I miss this creepy noise : ) Am I the only one?

using MADA at work , getting a constant 900KBps on the torrent douwnload
speed test to local server resulted 1MBps

Well my brother works in an ISP and as per him there is a major cable cut due to which everyone is affected in a way. It has been 2 weeks already and it may take another week or so for it to get fixed.
