As you probably are aware, Kuwait will be introducing new banknotes this summer. I did some digging around and with the help of a very reliable source managed to get you guys a sneak peek of the new KD20 bank note which you can see above. I will post the rest of the bank notes as soon as I get them.

You are messing around with my Images, which I did for the Central Bank ! Still Funny ! The other side of this first 20 Dinar Note, shortly before Invasion, has an Image of the Court Complex. I had to photograph it for the design work,on a Friday, early morning ( no cars )and while shooting the Police turned up, 2 Cars with sirens and lights to get me off the 4 runner with camera and tripod. The person from the Central Bank,who was with me,had forgotten to bring the permission. He, was send to bring the permission and I was brought into the court building with police. It took him on that Friday, 7 hrs to bring the paper. From then on, whenever I look at the 20 Dinar that messed up my Friday, comes to my mind!
Never got “cup cake” but a lot of Tea and a free Sandwich!

I was hoping they’d transition to plastic notes. In today’s age a redvelvet cupcake from Sprinkles or the Magnolia wud seem more apt for Kwt than say, images of the local heritage or of the founding fathers, really. Full marks to you, Mark. And beace to all.
