Creepstreams: Kuwait

Creepstreams is a website that streams footage from certain models of Trendnet home security cameras from around the world that are known to have a security vulnerability. I just checked the website and noticed there is one camera in Kuwait that is currently streaming footage online without the owners knowledge. Sadly for us peeping toms the camera is located in what looks to be a paint shop. You can check it out [Here]

Update: Google has disabled the website

This IS creepy! And it can happen to anyone … I knew I wasn’t crazy-paranoid for taping over the built-in webcam on my laptop.

My wife family have such security cameras across their home. it would be terrible invasion of privacy if someone gained access to their cams.

These cameras are connected to an IP so the owner can view them online, but obviously he doesn’t have any security on the connection.

I am curious, is it working for anyone? It was working a couple of hours back now I get a pop “Google has disabled use of Maps API for this application.”

…….

What’s wrong with posting about a site like this? A bit over-sensitive aren’t. It’s not like it’s a video stream from a toilet.
