Even though Abercrombie & Fitch still haven’t opened up their first store at The Avenues yet, they’re already getting ready to open their second location at 360 Mall. I wonder if the fake A&F store in Olympia Tower is still open?
Thanks Hamza

Is it an Alshaya franchise? Strange that they’re opening at 360, traditionally a “Shaya free zone”
Anyway, they obviously still don’t understand the Kuwaiti mindset. The only reason it’s popular among Kuwaiti youth with more money than sense or taste, is that it is not sold here officially (home imports don’t count). It’s supposed “cool factor” comes from buying it in the USA or the UK and showing off to the less cool kids
And again, Kuwait is waaaaaay behind the times as A&F loses its appeal everywhere else

I believe it’s owned my an Emirati company. It’s definitely not Alshaya.
Shaya wouldn’t be allowed to open it
UAEs AlFuttaim Group is the owner
Why this brand and Hollister are given this much praise in this country is beyond me.
Reminds me of how people ask for every single brand they ever tried to be brought over, then promptly ignore it after 3 months
Like, there were actually people excited for Taco Bell. Come on
And yet nobody learns anything, least of all the big retailers who insist on importing brand after brand without doing their homework
Taco Bell rocks.
Yo Quiero Taco Bel

Because there are no A&F and Hollister shops. The second they open and become accessible to the masses, they will lose their appeal
Makes sense…

The quality of Abercrombies clothes for the price its sold at, is really really good. Much better than Pull and Bear, A&E, and Gap.
The question is, Do you think they will get hot models? LOL
