According to a post on FogTa7t there will be a Bungee Jumping Festival at Marina Mall next month. I’ve never bungee jumped before so hopefully it’s the proper stuff so I can finally try it out.
Wow ! I always wanted to try this… But where is the height ?
they’ll probably use a crane
Not sure I would be comfortable bungee jumping with equipment that is maintained and inspected by a guy who is illiterate and makes 50KD a month. It probably won’t start that way, but I’m sure it will end up that way.
It will be managed by a team from Finland.
It will be at first…give it a year, and then it will done by guys in yellow coveralls.
touche’
yeap touche’
The first jump is always going to be the hardest one…
Im going in..
finally somethin more to do than just eating and shopping!
Guessing there would be a mad rush!
I’m already dead by the time I fall.. Hate heights!
I can already see them charging ridiculous prices, and this just for bungee jumping off a crane.
splat! I will be there to collect all the wallets & purses off the dead ones.
looks like you watch too much happy tree friends
I saw some photos of bungee jumping from cranes in Iran. I don’t think they’re doing it right.
It would stupid to call it a bungee jumping if its from a crane.
They will get huge rush, they should probably build something as we see in Shaab park…
why not? where do you think people bungee jump from its not always bridges…
It just becomes too artificial…
Sorry we don’t have cliffs and mountains here.. maybe we can build one? Possible eh?
Interesting notion… it’s not that hard either… in some countries, mountains just rise spontaneously from accumulated trash that later become landmarks
How about getting a pair of glasses buddy ?
re-read “probably build something as we see in Shaab park…”
I just did not like idea of using crane, IMO
Tried it in Bali once, it was over a pool, around 45m. Had a big headache for the rest of the evening and slept early. I went in feet first though, and had terrible pain in my stomach as well. Not sure if this was the problem 🙂
sounds like u got a sexual disease lol
Hehe well, it be cool to be honest..but how will we know if its safe 😀
I think not knowing it’s safe is the actual appeal.
I’ll probably try it, as long as there’s deep water below.. lol
One of those things that I have always wanted to do !
