Does anyone know why all the shisha places next to Marina Mall were closed down? There a couple of rumors circulating including that the government wants the land and that they were all in violation.

This is some upsetting news. I hope this isn’t permanent. I love one of those places, it’s 24 hours and very chill.
I’m pretty sure they want the land and the one I went to was full of teenage kids under 18 hanging out and smoking sheesha. They were popular in early 2000s but after social media a lot of them closed down already. They were also used for other shady things so it might be better to build something more practical for the country, perhaps some more restaurants? We always need more places to eat, right.
We need a Japanese cat cafe.
Thank god yes, close down on those shitholes.

I don’t know why they are closed, but I am very HAPPY to hear that
According to the news. It says they didn’t have the licenses. And the ones that had. Were expired.
They were only closed for a day. Yesterday they were back to normal business!
I read the article yesterday in a local newspaper, those tenants were warned earlier for using public areas without obtaining the appropriate license, hence they took that action against them, they were open on FRI evening, but SAT they were shut
Good riddance!
you never ate at seven bars, delicious food
That’s actually true….not the greatest places in the area, but 7 Bars did have some amazing food for what the place is!

i heard they were serving food during fasting hours..
