Fun fact, you can get a liver transplant from a living person. A part of the liver is transplanted and the remaining part simply regenerates.
Can expats be receiver if need be ? Or this organ bank is limited to serve localites

Dialysis is not denied to expats… a number of our patients on dialysis are non-kuwaiti…
ALL medical services that are available in kuwait’s public health services are provided to patients regardless of nationality.
You should contact them directly and ask. I’m personally curious to know whether nationality is a factor in determining your chance of getting a transplant. And what if someone donates specifically to an expat ( like a family member ) would they perform the operation here?
It’s debatable whether medical services should be provided for expats for free, but they should be clear regarding what is available.
In that case they should not mandste health insurance or make the terms and conditions transperant….
Expats are not allowed dialysis service at Govt clinic….
I personally know atleast 5 people who were forced to send their family member back home because they cannot continue the dialysis here…

I filled out their online registration form back in January, and in the end a box appeared stating that someone will get back to me shortly … no one ever did.
I don’t think many people sign up to become organ donors in this part of the world generally, and in Kuwait specifically, and the very few that do sign up never get contacted … they should really up their game.

Just saw this post and I wanted to add that I just became one and the most effective way is to actually contact their Whatsapp number and go there. It takes 5 minutes to get the card.
