Bus Drives into New Kuwait Airways Plane

(null)

An airport bus accidentally drove into a brand new Kuwait Airways plane earlier today. The plane is one of the new leased planes and had just arrived to Kuwait a couple of days ago. The driver has already been deported (not really… I think).

Hilarious! Keep it up with the humor at the expense of moronic laws and proposals. Don’t listen to the people who get easily offended by them. They are most likely part of the problem.

This joke is better. Last time the false impression was given that all Kuwaitis do is deport expats and that few are left.

It’s also unfair to the expats being deported but that’s beside the point it’s a joke and if you don’t get it you don’t get it. No biggie.

H, with a capital. I’m not sure what passport you hold, but either way I’m an expat who’s lived all my life in Kuwait as has Mark and the others. We love and admire this country as much as (and I even dare say more than) the locals. The only difference is that I have a western passport. To that extent, as a responsible expat who has been invited by the government to help them build the country, I have the right to criticize unfair practices. We (Kuwait) are a member of the UN Human Rights Charter and just gave a speech at the recent convention mentioning that we are treating all expats right. So if we aren’t really on the ground – like this ridiculuous I’ll deport you for petty crimes that started last year – we’ll laugh as loud as you will – if you cared. If the UK were to deport Kuwaitis violating their laws as is practiced here, you wouldn’t see many of them there – I’ve seen this personally – instead they get arrested and are let go after a warning and fine. Human life has universal sufferage and is not valued by man made boundaries. The current situation is governed by the oil in the country. You must remember that before the discovery of oil, countries like India were helping the country with even water. What happens when the oil goes away. I’m not very religious but I’ve seen enough to believe in Karma – what goes around comes around. If you treat the people who build your lives – at home and through the public services they execute – like s**t, you’ll be neck deep in it with no one to stand by your side loyally. Money makes friends but does not keep them, respect does. Cheers!

Look… If a human being operating a bus is that retarded to drive into an aeroplane in Kuwait, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, he (or she, most likely he in this case) should be subject to inquiry.

I don’t care about the specific photo, or whatever the race of the person was driving that bus. I would like to see a report on what exactly happened at that exact circumstance.

All of the previous comments strangely refer to moronic laws (I am not offended. I just hate trolls), jokes about Kuwaitis exporting expats, and sarcasm.

Whoever was in charge of that vehicle at the time should be reprimanded! (1-For being a complete retard / 2- For being seriously ill / 3- For being a troll). I experience the 3’s occupying Kuwaiti roads on a daily basis.

BTW… What is a JALBOOT?

I stopped flying Kuwait Airways in 2005. It’s a badly run company with questionable procedures, so I am not surprised by this. What’s a Toyota bus doing on the runway in the first place? Transporting what to where?

Jalboot is a type of boat used by fishermen and pirates. Apt.

Looks close to the terminal – are we sure the bus hit the plane and not the other way around (that the plane being guided in by the little puller vehicle ddidn’t hit the parked bus)? Either way, it is kinda funny that it was the brand new plane

Can happen to any airways and driver. They were just moving along when their paths met.

Car insurance co. What did you hit??

Apart from joke. This bus driver will be in a trouble now. I know one guy who hit the plane in Kuwait airport few years back. He suffered a lot.. lost his job immediately and they put a case against him and so that he couldn’t travel back to his country. it took him to clear his case so many years and his family suffered a lot with no money to live here.

It was funny until I read your comment. Shame on you, sir, for bringing empathy and thoughtfulness to this discussion >:(
