Immigration and Traffic Department:
11:08 to 11:16, otherwise regular hours after Eid.
Haha 👆🏼:)
For the malls, does the gap mean you won’t be able to do Iftar then in the malls? My first Ramadan in Kuwait, so want to try to find the good spots for Iftar and Suhoor so any recommendations will be welcome.
The timings are for general store timings. I called a few shops and in each mall and got a rough estimate. For example IKEA is 10:30 to 3:30 but most Alshaya is 10 to 4 in Avenues.
The malls don’t physically close their doors, you can still go there for the restaurants and be there for iftar. The shops will just be closed.
Quite frankly Dubai is a great Ramadan destination and all the malls have wonderful Iftars in the malls. The hotel rates are low and if you are a tourist who is not fasting there are curtained areas where you can dine. The UAE does so much to exemplify a more positive view of the Ramadan holiday with beautiful decorations in the malls and beautiful Iftar dinners all over town. Its that extra step that’s important…Kuwait.
In what way is Dubai relevant to this conversation? I guess you work for the emirati PR team.
Besides, in Kuwait we don’t do this:
UAE man faces $68,000 fine for swearing on WhatsApp

Man to face trial in UAE for swearing in WhatsApp message
https://7days.ae/man-to-face-trial-in-uae-for-swearing-in-whatsapp-message/64717
Yeah in Kuwait we do this:

https://www.middleeasteye.net/in-depth/features/deported-bbq-ing-kuwaiti-ex-pats-feel-heat-372284003
So same same.
Nope, the barbecuing deportation isn’t a law. It’s a proposal:

Ask fajer the lawyer if it’s a law, it isn’t. Just a proposal. No one has been deported for illegal barbecuing.
Okay Mr/Mrs Kuwait Government official.^
Thanks for the info mate
For those of us that don’t fast, is there anywhere else to buy or order food except for Sultan Center? Sultan is the only place that has prepared food all the time. Even Hardees delivery won’t start till 6pm. Any info would be appreciated.
Happy Ramadan to all.
LuLu and Geant would have ready made food available as well.
As for restaurants, majority deliver only before iftar time although there are a few places that might deliver a bit earlier than that but nothing close to regular lunch hours.
Sultan Center Hot Foods is open for take away.
Also, restaurants that are open during day for delivery are mentioned on talabat.com
They will only deliver just before iftar. Unless you know of a restaurant that would deliver at 2pm share it here
Dude just check 6alabat for your area. my area has 50+ open restaurants from 2-3PM some even open at 11AM.
I did, and I’ve been calling them one by one, and so far out of 16 that are listed open, three deliver before 3, one at 3 and then the rest after 5.
Sabaidee is open from 1-5pm and then 7-10pm if you’re craving Thai. That’s their official Ramadan schedule from their website.
Can someone post buffet listings on here?
I just downloaded the ramadan menu. It clearly states on it takeaway starts at 5PM. You’re looking at the opening hours of the Sabaidee spa & salon…
Go to corniche club during ramadan. The restaurant there is open during fasting time, they serve food and drinks.
Sadly they don’t. They are fully closed!
Dean & Deluca is open – their prepared food is available for take away all day
The Southern in Mahboula is open for delivery starting at 3 pm on Talabat.com 🙂
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this informative post, as it is useful to me 🙂
Hi, what I would like to know is when I can and can’t eat in public. So when does the fasting begin and end. thanks!
Really?
yes, really? what prayer times should I be looking out for exactly?
Check https://twitter.com/Gulf_Bank/media
They’ll be posting a graphic everyday with the timings. Today it was 6:50
you can eat in public after it is dark. Dont eat in public when you can still see the sun.
Are shopping stores open on Friday morning?
Is it true that speeding an red light fines are waived and not applied during Ramadan or at special times of day during Ramada when roads are clogged – people are stuck at traffic lights or generally driving like maniacs ???
I hope not.
Thank you Mark
but..

Thanks!
is geant 360 or carrefour avenues opened before iftar?
Hi ,this is referring to a comment that I saw on this thread about walking your dog – I’m bringing my dog in September and
Concerned that you say that you are not allowed to walk your dog on the gulf road? Is that true? And if so who told you? I didn’t plan on taking her to parks for obvious reasons but I thought that it would be ok if my husband took her running (on a leash of course) on the walkway.
Where did you read you can’t walk your dog on the Gulf Road?
helow everyone, please tell me what is the friday market (harraj) will close at saturday?
i mean what time the friday market will close?
How about friday market?
