The Eight is a new project by Tamdeen that will feature 70 sea view apartments, in-line retail shopping, fine dining, cafes, and drive thru services that vary from financial institutions to fast food restaurants. The Eight is going to be located in Sabah al Salem, West of the Fahaheel express way and adjacent to the sea. Based on the 3D renderings it looks like it’s going to be a mini city of a sort with lots of stores and restaurants surrounding the apartment block. If its adjacent to the sea, shouldn’t it be EAST of the Fahaheel expressway?

Seriously! Is this the level of design and architecture that we now expect from Tamdeen? The developers of 360 Mall and Al Kout ?!?
Will anyone ever build something other than restaurants? I want a six flags theme park but they would have to shade the whole park or build it indoors or a racing park, we used to have one in Cali that had three different go-kart tracks, a drag race game and indoors was the video game area kinda like Dave & Busters minus the alcohol.
