I was in blockat the other night and came across this pretty strange shop. The shop mostly specializes in scales, everything from small Tanita home scales to heavy-duty commercial ones. But, that occupied just half the store, the other half was filled with random things like crucibles to melt gold in, old-fashioned steering wheel locks, kitchen knives, butter churns and a science section.
The shop sold biology, chemistry and physics equipment and labware, and most of it looked pretty old school like they’ve been sitting on the shelves for decades.
So if you’re ever in need of tubes, flasks, chemicals, skeletons or whatever, then you could check this place out. It’s also fun to just walk around in since the store has so much random stuff.

I have had the worst customer experience with this company. It was around 4 years ago and I needed an industrial scale to measure in 0.001 KG accuracy. I, like you, had found that shop interesting. I pass by it every once in a while when I need to go to the chamber of commerce building. Anyway I buy the scale from them, and it turns out I no longer need it and I have to return it. I show up a day or two after the original purchase to be told that there are no refunds whatsoever, the owner guy was adamant in this policy and his employees were extremely rude and unapologetic in turning me away. It was as if they went “PSYCHE, ITS YOURS”. Eventually I managed to convince SELLING it back to them at a loss and they begrudgingly accepted. I hate that store with a passion. I hope the piles of dirt that cover his goods grow thicker and thicker.
Sounds like your fault
I don’t think so. Maybe I was overly dramatic because ot was very expensive at it was a bad time money-wise, but I distinctly remember the rudeness of the employees “look look he wants to return hahaha”, not to mention that it is well within my right to be able to return goods if it is in its original condition, and it was.
