The Discovery show Build it Bigger aired an episode featuring the Al Hamra Tower and I’m downloading it now from my favorite torrent site as I am typing this. I saw it last night on Science channel. I have it in my DVR also. They are doing an amazing job for this project.
When we were invited to the tower there was a banner displayed which said it was the world’s tallest sculptured building’ 🙂

@Alblogy, though that expanse of water is known in the Arab Gulf States as the Arabian Gulf, internationally it is known as the Persian Gulf.
i love how they show the kuwaiti society as a women in burqaa and an old dude just sitting around 🙂 but still its cool that al hamra is known internationally
