TIME Magazine have an article titled “Extreme Heat: 10 Worldwide Spots With Tough Temperatures” and Kuwait was included as the hottest city. That’s not surprising at all considering how everyone has been recording temperatures over 50 degrees.

you are indeed correct! if its ovver 50 no one has to go to work but the time says its 45 if its originally 56-58c
But with this Ramadan being in August with temps over 50 degrees I think the humane thing to do is to drop the ‘no drinking water in public’ law, I mean what if you are outside working and they can’t drink water? This year the law needs to be revised!!
The whole ritual of fasting needs to be revised to meet international standards of labor laws.

Well that’s easy for you to say, isn’t it? Ramadan is super easy for people who aren’t manual laborers. Work and school hours are shorter, and we get to spend the day in air conditioning. It’s nothing like what the needy really go through. For people working outside, however, this is downright cruel. I guess letting them suffer from dehydration and heat stroke is just fine by you.
Acually if its gettes hard to fast because of hard lanour Islam permets them to drink. Its not black and white there is some gray in there.

Is it really that hard to sneak a sip in Fran? Maybe your job requires you to be in the public eye for extended periods of time? Are you a construction worker on a busy highway?
“In public” has a very loose meaning.
Stores that sell food are still open in Ramadan as long as they don’t count as a “restaurant” so instead of eating out you can buy a bag of samboosa and eat them in your car, noone will really say anything. I also smell a lot of cigarette smoke in Ramadan even if I don’t see it.
The funny thing is, fasting should NOT apply to poor and hungry people!
The WHOLE POINT of Ramadan is to make the well-off people feel the plight of those that are suffering. So technically those suffering people should be allowed to eat and drink whenever they can get it, bc they don’t usually have that privilege. It’s really common sense even if you barely understand the ritual but try explaining that the sheep that just blindly follow corrupt religious figures without even reading the Holy Quran.
And we hear about Europeans dying when the temperatures hit 30…
They don’t have AC and it’s mostly old people dying. If you leave an old Kuwaiti out in the heat they will die too.

Even if you’re out and about or stuck in traffic and need a sip in Ramadan, there really are several ways of doing it without offending anyone or being caught.
You just need to apply your brain.
And exactly why should anyone be offended if someone drinks in front of them in Ramadan?
WHY SHOULD ANYONE BE OFFENDED? are you kidding me? you’re fasting the whole day, and a guy walks around with a water bottle or a piece of sandwich in their hand, and that wouldn’t offend you? plus thats in our Islamic religon and not only Kuwait enforces this law

Not at all. I fast for my self. When I fast, I do not get angry because someone else is not. I still don’t understand why should I? Enlighten me.
Why would a poor laborer fast in Ramadan? That’s stupid and makes no sense, it DEFIES the whole point of Ramadan!
Fasting in Ramadan ONLY applies to well-off people to make them feel the suffering of poor people and their DAILY lack of food. Poor people are technically fasting on and off all the time bc they can’t get food regularly, they don’t have the cozy privilege of doing it for just for a month. Does no one understand their religion here? use YOUR brain peopl.
