Pictures of the New Kuwait Airways Terminal

Construction of the new Kuwait Airways terminal (Terminal 4) is now over 85% complete and is expected to be ready by June. The Kuwait Airways terminal is a temporary terminal being constructed to alleviate the pressure from our current airport until the new main and huge terminal 2 is completed.

So just to clarify things, we will have the following amount of airports/terminals:

– Kuwait International Airport (our current old airport)
– Sheikh Saad Airport (FlyDubai)
– Jazeera Airways Terminal (Opening May)
– Kuwait Airways Terminal (Terminal 4)
– Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2 (New huge one opening 2020)

Update: Here are some updated pictures of the interior [Link]

It’s possible that they could use one for Middle East and the other for international flights. Personally I want them to dedicate the small terminal south/south east Asian flights, cause they reck the hell out of anything and it would be a waste to wreck the fancy big terminal. Not being racist it’s just the truth. Also you forgot the new terminal in the northern area.

Yup not being racist. Because thats what governments the world over do, build airports based on skin color and passport. (sarcasm in case you haven’t noticed) And how exactly do these people ‘reck’ the airport – by not being ‘fancy’ enough for your Gucci boots? Suleiman has lost his cookie and man you are beyond racist in that comment

Skin really has nothing to do with it, it’s how people act. Can I ask how many times you’ve been to Kuwait Airport? How many times you’ve been to the god forsaken bathrooms and saw some guy taking a shit in the urinal? Saw kids throwing their slippers across the terminal while running around, smashing into people? See steal screws, sink hole covers and what ever else can remove stolen. The bathroom has 5 toilets each in a different shade of white case they got smashed. I got through that building 12 times a year (atleast) and I’m sick of the having to see new seats put in then ripped when I get back the next time I’m there. God forbid I ever tell someone to respect the building because then I’d have disgusting words thrown at me.

Be sarcastic, be pissed I genuinely don’t care but when hundreds of millions of my government’s money is being spent, I’d rather have it paid once not every 3 days repairing expensive furniture and fittings. Think about it this way how about you pay 15% income tax, capital gains tax, VAT, council taxes, double tuition fees for being a foreigner, road tax, subsidies on anything get changed to taxes and then we’re even. Do We have a deal? Btw those are all U.K taxes that I have to pay.

P.S Gucci boots are extremely tacky (it really shines a light on your tastes), I prefer sneakers by Dior or maybe Saint Laurent.

Don’t complain about paying up any of the mentioned.. you are getting a better service than you ever will here and best of all, a pension from the UK government, when you’re not even British. So stop PMSing

I call bullshit!

The roads in the U.K are horrible, the sidewalks are literally tipping from side to side as u step on them, the taxes don’t add anything to quality. Beggars everywhere you go, ambulance takes 40 minutes, you wait over 10 days to see a GP who is in fact a trainee nurse, there aren’t any beds available in the hospitals. My professor had a fractured hip and shoulder, had to wait 3 months for an appointment for the surgery, why? Cause they had no beds free to put her after they finished the operations. what pensions? My classes have been halved due to workers including most of my professors going on strike cause their pensions literally got cut to a THIRD of what it was which is already a HALF of what is should be.

How many times have you been to the U.K and what area? London? Secondly if your that content with the services and taxes in the U.K why don’t you move here? Put your money where your mouth is.

wow, such a racist, uncultured swine. Kuwait is nothing compared to a prestigious region like the U.K, so, please don’t spout such rubbish when your braincells can be counted from the chocolate chips on a cookie.

I can feel your blood boil, your temper tantrums can be felt all the way here in the the “prestigious region” (what a joke). You my dear sir can get on to the first flight to the U.K. I dare you, prove your balls. Hand in your resignation today and come to the U.K to live. Prove me wrong, I dare you. Plus if I was as stupid as you say, let me know what university you went to and what accomplishment you have achieved in your life. I for one am a student at University College London, the “godless university” which tells you a lot about me.

@ Cookiee crumble
I’ve lived half my life in the UK, brought up here, have the nationality, so I know what I’m talking about.

I wouldn’t be too proud of the road systems in Kuwait either, once it rains, it crumbles. UK roads have more strain on them then the whole of Kuwait does (not to factor in the weather & population). With that said, they still stay in tact which is more than I can say about the roads in Kuwait.

UK has side walks for people to walk on.. Kuwait? Yeah self explanatory

NHS vs Mustawsaf in Kuwait.. Do i need to compare? I dont see the NHS asking you to pay for your visits to the local doctor? Why, because tax payers pay for your free health service. Ofcourse theres a strain on public hospitals, its free for all, what do you expect? But I can guarantee you would get a better service in the NHS than you would at a private hospital in Kuwait

Look up the UK Pension Scheme & then come back with more rhetoric. You’re professors can strike and have a proper union to represent them when they are being mistreated.. doesn’t say much about what you can do back home when things go sour.

And finally cookie monster.. you wouldn’t be there in the first place finishing off your education if you weren’t content with the education & services that you are being offered… as the famous slogan goes.. if you don’t like it.. GTFO… you shouldn’t have been there in the first place

Really ain’t bothered to read what you just wrote but you commented on the wrong comment so what you just said ain’t my problem, it’s just a whole lot of rubbish. I presumed it was pointed at me, even if it wasn’t idc. Remember you took the time to read my comments which shows you care and respect my opinions enough to give it your time. Thank you for your time, respect and care. 🙂

@ Sulaiman-COOKIEE

And so my point is proven.. we are talking to a child.. You’re always welcome 😀

It is sad to see that there are no plans to connect all airports via train or bus shuttle which is typical to Kuwait since there is no proper planning and most projects are made for short term

Terminals 1,2 and 4 are definitely getting a bus service between them. They are purchasing new ones with Mercedes. The other two are third party and not the government’s responsibility. The new terminal which is the other half of terminal 4 will have a train service between both halfs.

Mark…the contract was signed in mid 2016 and it is a 6 years contract. With some luck it’ll finish in mid 2022 and with usual delays it will be no later than 2023. Talks about reducing it to 4 and a half years are not realistic.

Our problem in Kuwait is that we always give our people promises for political gains and hence the unrealistic end date.

No contractor will ever invest in finishing a project earlier than contractualy stated!

LMAOOO Yeah I don’t think that will happen in Kuwait until maybe 15 years from now. Before I got the residency, I came in as a tourist and had to wait an hour for a visa…A process that takes like 5 minutes in Bahrain lol.

Sulaiman out of curiosity why are you studying in the UK if you hate it that much, JUST GTFO and study in Kuwait

And yeah you must be very smart for comparing the UK to Kuwait! Again GTFO of the UK you dumb!

Finally I don’t live in Kuwait before you assume so because I would never ever live in a dump yard
