I found this local website by mistake and I’m actually impressed. Not at the design or anything like that but on the items that are listed… luxury watches! There seems to be a good range but I am struggling to find out whats used, whats new, whats from the local dealers and what’s gray market. I am guessing the Rolex Deep Sea for example is used since it’s listed for KD2,250 while it retails for KD3,250 locally before discount. They have the Audemars Piguet Offshore Diver listed for KD4,250 but it retails for KD4,500 at the dealer although they’re out of stock. The Panerai section is beautiful, they’ve got my favorite which is the very limited PAM 26. The Hublot section… lets not even go there. Basically I would have to agree with their tag line, it has to be Kuwait’s premier luxury site since I am not aware of any other one. [Link]

There is a Audemars Piguet in there for 61,000 KD! i nearly vomited when i saw that ! LOL!

and not anyone who can afford to buy many sports cars would pay 61 thousand kd for a watch you’d have to be stupid too to do that in addition to being filthy rich ,rich or not the price tag is just ridiculous for a watch its not gonna make you fly after all !
That’s because not everyone appreciates a good watch. If I had millions I would easily shell out 61,000 for a watch.
ohh and after browsing this site for a while i found some watches even more expensive there is a patek phillipe for 168,000 KD ! i dont think anything can justify the price tag ! its a F***in watch, now this is beyond ridiculous.
I think that in the case of this watches they jack up the price ridiculously to make it more unique or exclusive so that not anyone would wear one ,if it had some diamonds on it i would understand that this the reason its expensive but it doesnt it just looks like any other very expensive watch !
Diamonds don’t make a watch expensive. Rarity alone also doesn’t make a watch expensive. It’s a combination of things from the materials used, to the brand, how many of them are made, what kind of movement is inside etc..
Again a 168,000 watch isn’t for everyone. You’re really not thinking big or at least not imagining how much money some people have. If you have a billion KD whats a 168,000kd watch? That’s like having a 1000kd and buying a 8kd casio calculator watch.
My 5kd knock-off works just fine.
Many appreciate the mechanical complexities a watch maker integrates like number of complications or a tourbillon. I appreciate a good watch but sadly none of the ones listed on that site are in my reach 🙁

Hublot. Totally awesome ,even the entry level big bangs. The only advice is that unless you buy from an AD authorized dealer… No warranty is honored … And these come with a 5 year warranty.
People are free to do with their money as they wish. Just because you can’t stomach the idea doesn’t give you the right to bash anyone who does.

I recently bought a new Panerai from the mall attached to the Marriot, I got a good deal on it, far better than in UK even taking off the vat.
Mark, if you havent been yet check out the new IWC shop in 360 mall, its small but nice. The Jaeger shops opens next door in a couple of weeks too.
Yeah that’s the Panerai dealer, price is very good since they give 30% discount. They’re also the IWC and Jaeger dealers, they have them displayed in the same store but still haven’t passed by the new stand alone IWC in 360. In Lebanon they opened up a Panerai Boutique but haven’t passed by that either.
Get a Panerai Power Reserve. It’s around 500 KD cheaper if you get it from abroad.
You sure? All the prices of all the PAM watches in Kuwait that I’ve checked are cheaper than abroad because of the 30% discount you get here and no tax or vat. I’ve checked the PAM 177, PAM 26, PAM 47 PAM 236 and PAM 243. I’ve compared prices to NY boutique and Selfridges over the phone. Not sure if they offer a better price if you are in front of them or not but NY you can’t even get tax refund.
Yep I’m sure… I remember asking about it last year and I was told that it’s retail price was 2,500. After discount it dropped to 1,950.
My parents bought it for me from Belgium a few days later and it’s price was around 1,380.
Maybe the 30% discount is a new thing, I’m not sure.
But which model of the power reserve series are you talking about? You can find power reserve for both those prices. Maybe you checked on one model here and another there.
It’s the PAM 90. In both places I made sure of the model number and it’s width because while talking to the Kuwaiti branch and the one in Belgium I had the site opened in front of me. So I’m sure they knew what I was looking for.

their prices seem okay, not really THAT impressive but definitely good for something off the net before getting all serious. i got my ROO from the dealer for something i would go and pay again rather than buy from the site, lets put it that way.. but i would be interested to see what series of the SS daytona they have on offer for 2.9-3k.

– the rolex deep sea is brand new and yes it is for 2250KD. we do have a used one for 2000KD if interested pls let me know

– yes, some of the watches has a higher selling price than the retail (tag) price. That is due to the premium the watch carries as it is limited in edition and hard to get.
– all warranties on watches are either one or two years depending on the company. And all warranties are honored worldwide weather bought from authorized dealer or a reseller.
Hey Karim, the Offshore Diver price tag of KD4,500 I gave was given to me by the AP dealer in Kuwait around 4 days ago. So I guess the price has dropped since the last time you checked.
Hello Mark, apparently the price they gave you was after discount. I passed by the AP dealer one week ago and they had the watch at that time for KD5450. Therefore they might have given you a price of KD4,500 after discount.

I wasn’t offered anything when browsing in Panerai at Salhiya on a vist recently. How does one get that? Also, would it be cheaper to but a Panerai 298 here in Dubai or wait ’till I’m in Kuwait? thanks in advance!!
