I spotted this picture near Safat Square showing how the new revamped square will look like once construction is completed. I can’t see any seating areas which I think would be a big mistake this time around. They should add benches all around the fountains and the places that used to sell fake perfumes and toys should be turned into cafe’s (Note: That does not mean shisha places).

Have they awarded a contract to a company yet? Oh no, well when will it go up for bid? Oh, they haven’t completed the tender yet, so when do they anticipate that being done? Oh, that hasn’t been discussed yet? And when do they anticipate the construction to begin? Oh, they don’t have any idea yet? Oh, alright just give it to the press to publish the rendering to make the people think there’s a development plan@#$#
There will not be any Cafe’s on that spot. Safat square has lots of historic memories and I’m guessing the government is attempting to wipe them out.
I’m willing to bet that the construction of the new square will never end…

It’s a beautiful place and they need to actually do it not just have plans to do it that’s the main problem i Kuwait.
Yah a seating area should be there with Cafes … i hope that is included.
