The Suburban House in Kuwait

suburb

The blogger Crazy in Kuwait posted a few pictures of some interesting looking houses in Kuwait and the one that caught my attention was the house that looks like an American suburban house complete with a white picket fence. Check out the other houses [Here]

I saw a UK style suburban house in Nuzha right by the Co-op. Made of red bricks and even has a nice chimney. The diwaniya tent outside clashes horribly with the house though.

A welcome change from all the ugly, unimaginative designs on the majority of the houses in the country.

There’s nothing more ugly and unimaginative than a Suburban House based on the US.

They’re ugly, stuffy and unbeliavbly small to the point where you’ll be suffocating.

Riiight…and a two story tan painted cube/block is so much better and the whole world aspires to emulate it right? lol

yes. It’s space efficient, and stylish if you like simple abstract designs.

If the owner fucks it up with ugly decorations, then that’s his fault.

In Bnaider there’s an old weather-beaten “chalet” built in the style of beach houses in the north east USA. It looks like it could be on Cape Cod or Maine or even Long Island, with shuttered windows and tall wild grass

that house is in Rawda, it’s actually owned by my uncle’s friend, I think the interior is pretty interesting as well, but yeah I always say that it’s a change, looks cool.
