What problems do you have with Aramex?

Aramex called me up today asking if we could sit down together and discuss the problems I have with their service. I am thinking, why get the opinion of one guy when you can get the opinion of a whole bunch of people?

So if you use Aramex and have problems with them please post it below as a comment so they can read it. It seems they have a genuine interest to improve their service.

They have a good service and cheap. but I hate’em when they said “OVER LOAD … come back nextweek !”
I waited 7 days to get my shipment, and when it arrived they said that “OVER LOAD sir”. also i hate their holidays, especially when you order something and arrieved in EID

Hey man how can you say that these guys at Aramex have good service. These guys have no clue on how to differentiate their head from their ass. I dont really use them but my parents generally use them to ship me stuff to the US. Firstly they overcharge you and then they ship the packages between their LA and NY packages before the package ever reaches you. So generally an express pakage from the mideast will arrive in the US in 2-3 weeks, ie if you are lucky and in one piece without being damaged. Then they over charge you. Like this last time the original airway bill lists as 8kg but then their systems change that to 38kgs and bill u accordingly.

I am with you dear, they have lost my money, and time and the documents were tear in parts, the documents were returned back in a damaged condition.

they have a stupid service and never gonna use them any more. they have destroyed my very important official papers issued from the embassy and returned to me after 13days from a different source.

People must never use aramex for international shipments. they are maybe good in domestic.

Rip off merchants. Paid for postage then Aramex slap £15 delivery charge on top. Costs were more than gift

I hate that they send messages that your package will arrive today before 12 and then it never does. I mean don’t make me go out of my way to make sure i can be home and not deliver my package and only come 2 days later. That is just pathetic.

I recieved my parcel yesterday but package damage its already open ..they closed only with plastic tape.. and one item lost i tried to call aramex but they never take action .. l also messge them no action.. 😒😒😒😒

I have been using Shop & Ship for approximately 5 years.

What bothers me the most is that because of the security situation at my office, they have to drop off packages at my home: The drivers just show up without any prior notification (most often, when I’m not there). I’ve repeatedly asked them to please call me first before deliving, but without fail- they don’t. They also don’t notify me of how much the shipment will cost, to ensure that I have cash on hand. There has to be a better system.

I have to say that their service has improve dramatically since they first started out. I’m glad that they are actively soliciting feedback from customers in Kuwait.

Hello,why Aramex don’t call the sender if the parcel delays to reach destination?I have two parcels I send on the 4th of May till now one shows still in transity other one don’t even show any thing?I called no one picks the call.this is not fair.why are you doing that?why you don’t call me and tell me what’s wrong?

1. You can’t get anyone on the phone .. ever.
2. They only have two flights a week and both take over 4 days to reach Kuwait.
3. They don’t do bulk pricing or discounts.
4. If you ordered anything over 2500$ .. you won’t be seeing your package anytime soon.

1- I face a problem that is very similiar to Desert Girl.
They come unannounced and expect to have around 20KD’s in cash on hand. With the use of Debit and Credit cards many people no longer carry cash. So a fee of 15KD can take many people by surprise.
2- There prices are not clear when it comes to size, they only provide prices by weight. Sometimes I get things that do not wiegh much but consume space and end up paying a lot — much more than what I was expecting.
3- Let them make delivery estimates when packages arrive to the box. I think the reason most of us get upset is because we expect items to arrive in 3 days — something that never happens. I would not mind waiting a week, as long as I am told before hand that I will have to wait a week.
4- I agree with K, bigger orders should get better pricing.

I used to order stuff from the states all the time, on an almost monthly frequency, but not anymore.

It used to take a maximum of 1 week to get my stuff from the day i ordered it to the day it was dropped off at my door (since i have no magazines or mail delivered to the mailbox, i have it set on a bi-weekly check). The last three times i ordered it took 3, 6, and 4 weeks respectively for my shipments to arrive.

Now most of the time my order consists of books and DVD’s, and once they arrive in kuwait, tracking has them as shipped and in kuwait but i have to wait for another week or two before the get to me.

Furthermore i have to go pick the shipment up myself or risk waiting another week till aramex get around to bringing it over.

My next problem isnt with Aramex only, it has to do with our lovely customs officials at the airport as well, they seem to tack on frivolous fee’s to just about every package i ordered in the last year or so, and this has happened with many of my friends as well. What i’m told is that Customs only charge their standard fee’s but that a BOT company called National Aviation Services (NAS) are the ones who charge those extra fee’s. Now, i don’t know who’s behind NAS but they seem to be collecting a nice amount of money for doing basically nothing. And their charges aren’t set, they higher the value of the shipment the higher the fee’s get, but since they are not customs, what the hell are the doing levying those kinds of charges.

Custom also seem to check the covers of the DVD’s to see if they warrant any extra “inspection”. Now i had a shipment that contained DVD’s of the sopranos, entourage, and rome (three graphic HBO series, albeit with no graphic or suggestive cover work) and Nip/Tuck (a series where a butt is all you’re ever likely to see), well guess which one got flagged and delayed my whole shipment. yep, nip/tuck, because it had a girl in a bikini on the cover and god forbid that goes through the inspection without anyone taking a look. That delayed my package another two weeks, and my problem with aramex is that they have no idea what goes on once packages arrive at customs. I didnt know a DVD got flagged and inspected except after i called an acquaintance who checked and got back to me with the story, aramex for 2 weeks simply kept saying that it was at customs. Therefore better integration with customs is also a must.

1) They never pick up the phone NEVER. I always call the Dubai number for better chance of talking to someone.

2) My packages stay in US mailbox for a LONG time

3) I always get the confirmation text messages AFTER the package was delivered

Yeah I have an issue with the payment. I DON’T carry cash so when the guy comes in with my packages I have to walk all the way to a cash machine and then come back and pay the guy. Very unpractical and thats one of the reasons i prefer USWS, with them once the package ships from the US I can go online and pay for it using Knet or Visa.

Packages are definitely taking longer to be delivered than they used to; they now take around a minimum of two weeks to be delivered.

Also, over the summer, I had (Sesame Street!!) DVDs flagged by customs and I was told that I should go clear them myself or it will “maybe” take 3 weeks for Aramex to clear them. The lady on the phone encouraged me to go myself and I did. I picked up the shipping papers at the Aramex offices myself and paid the shipping fees (around KD 10), and went to customs where they charged me the same amount again, in addition to a KD at every window I had to stop at (around 5). It was a really bad experience, I don’t think Aramex should encourage their customers to go to customs, because I ended up getting really angry at Aramex, not at the customs people.

On the other hand, I like that they send me a message when the package leaves their office to be delivered with the amount that I have to pay.

My problems with ARAMEX (in descending order of importance):

1. The drivers show up unnanounced and expect me to have cash to pay them off.

2. Orders are getting much slower.

3. Nobody evers answers the fucking phone at Aramex.

I’m kinda of new to aramex but of course I had troubles with them from the beginning, and after calling, posting complaints on their web site (not less than 6 complaints) finally everything was working at it should.
Nevertheless I don’t like that fact that it takes them a while to ship the packages and they charge some packages more than they’re worth, like the other day I got an envelope and they charged me the normal amount for it, I mean come on it’s just a piece of paper!! why do I have to pay 2,500kd for that

I think we have laws in Kuwait and Chamber of Commerce

Merchants that own Aramex can take action towards the customs , also they can talk to perlimant members

what the customs are doing is un acceptable .. they charge me fees 40% of the value of my item .. even though i sent a receipt

wtf! they know what wrong and they tell you whats wrong with them because when you are able and lucky enough and they answer ur call they tell you sorry we are busy now and ur things are stuck at jfk as the plane is full so you will get them when they can arrange another plane so in a month or so which is quite good for thier high standerd! plus u pay an arm and a legg for thier shipping thats ok but sometimes they tell u. you need to go clear ur things as u are the unlucky guy who the customs decided to grab your things! why dont they clear then like dhl or fedex as they charge more then what they charge! and me as a customer i dont care about the customs here in kuwait they shouldnt even mention that to me as they need to do all the work and deliver it to me… well thats what they charge me for!

How about the option to destroy any unwanted mail, such as a piece of paper. Or an option to hold all items and ship them when they accumulate (for example magazines).

I’m actually considering USWS just for that.

The main issue I have is the timing, and I have to clear my own items.. that is one of the biggest things.. they don’t have clear updates about what is going on…

They should keep the customer updated and not lie to the customer.. we know they are having problems with customs.. everybody is but misleading the customer is the worst thing to do..

They need to invest in their website a bit and improve on it.. their prices are higher but not for better service!

*Nobody answers the phones, they must appoint someone just for the calls.It gets frustrating after all the calls nobody answers it but I must say once they answer they are very helpful and very friendly.

*I usually go collect my packages from their outlet in Ardiya and my smses are on time,so no online payment,cash or card problem for me, anything goes.

I will say one thing in favor of the S n S, I’ve been to their outlet many times and the staff is constantly on their toes….working, the sole reason for all the unanswered calls.
But thats no excuse, hire more people, Aramex!!

Hmmn… I’ve ordered DVD’s, books, tools, clothes, accessories, etc and had em shipped via SnS, and never had to worry about customs. Not once! Considering the trouble other couriers have with customs clearance, I figured Aramex was one up in that respect.
My only grouse with Aramex has is the ‘je ne sais quoi’ attitude. For example, when I asked why my last package was held at the US mailbox for 2 days, then showed a departure scan on the 3rd day but had the next scan only a good week later arriving a whole 11 days after it was received; the best response I got was a shrug and the words ‘don’t know’, ‘maybe’. Not good enough.
If I consider using USWS, it would be because they allow you to change the frequency of your mailbox collection upto 48 hrs before your order is received. Aramex did say they were gonna have this feature via their website, but nothings come out of it yet.
One last thing Aramex, if SnS lines aren’t open 24 hrs, at least have an automated/IVR service available.

1- Calreless while handeling packages, I got more than 3 damaged packages the last time I used aramex and their damage payment is crap.

2- Very unfriendly receptionists whom acts like I owe them for getting my packages.

3- It take forever to receive a shipment.

1-Some websites only accept US based credit cards (like HP.com); why doesnt Aramex help with that? Maybe any reader can help with this 🙂

2-Did they have any reasonable justification for increasing thier rates in 2008?

4-ONline payment recommended.

5- Compensation is only 100$ for any item lost, so u end up paying up to 50 KD for insurance on the ordered laptop and are still at risk!

6-Aramex never knows if you will end up paying customs, and have no idea how much! They have the audacity to tell u to go clear it urself!!!!!!

7-They dont provide solutions. I bet you the above issues went out the other ear.

Is Customer still King, or just ‘bling bling’?

I have been usng SNS for about 2 years now. So far till date , never faced a problem, but i would like to see the following

1. Online payment
2. The delivery guys should carry wireless knet payment units.
3. Ability to combine , many shipments online. Meaning, sometimes i order books from amazon from different vendors, i would like to club my shippment as 1 order , by delaying the pickup. currently im paying for every order which comes sometimes every 2 days.
4. I get the SMS notifications late sometimes, so id prefer an email notification that the Package is arrived in KUwait , and costs this much and will be delivered on this day.
5. Preferable a 24 x 7 delivery option.
6. and official tie-ups like Amazon and others, meaning like If we use Aramex, then a 15% discount etc. The online aramex site only seems to link to online merchants, i dont find any discounts.
7. Discounts on shipping for regular customers. i order monthly. But there seems to be no loyalty scheme or benefits.
8. More details on shippments. Sometimes i order multiple items, when i notice that a package has arrived , it only says “Private Mail” , so i have no clue, whats come.

if you have a large shipment they will never ask if it should go as cargo instead of express so they screw you on the price of shipment

i have been ordering for five years… in the begining it was the case that the shipment would stay in my mailbox for like one two days max then its shipped, now the shipments can rest in peace for up to one week until it comes…

going all the way to 3arthya is not something im a fan of either… i liked it better when i used to go to shop & ship in sharq…

plus… when the shipment sms notification comes when you are at work and the shipment is going home where no one else is there but your housekeeper who have just shipped her salary home so there is not one fils to be paid for him … its not a good scenario, yeah i realize i could look in advance and put money o planning etc. etc. but life is not always perfect! so i suggest either online payment or sms one day beforehand ,…

my sis and 4 of my friend …. all of them ordered i-pods but sadly after they waited for a long time they hand enough so they head to aramex to ask them about the delivery, and the reception said : that their order been stolen and aramex will only pays 20 KD for any lost item, o they said u also agreed to that when u register to aramex and u did follow the agreement.

the problem was, i was sayin to my friends o my family that aramex iz the best solution for u to order from US to KW, but sadly now after aramex made them disappointed and made me untrusted guy.

GET A MOBILE KNET MACHINE, MOST SMALL RETAILS HAVE THEM NOW, SHIPPING COST IS WAY TO COMPLICATED TO CALCULATE. WHATS WITH THE FIRST POUND AND THEN EVERY OTHER POUND?? HAVE A CALCULATOR ON UR SITE THAT ACTUALLY CALCULATES THE EXACT POUNDS INTO THE DESIRED CURRENCY. ONE OTHER THING, Y IS CUSTOMER SUPPORT POOR? NO1 PICKS UP THE FREEKIN PHONE, UR TO BLAME FOR USHOPWESHIP TO EVEN SHOW UP, U HAD FIRST PLACE AND NOW ARE JUST SLACKING OFF TO LAST

Whenever the drivers used to show up at my apartment, for some WEIRD reason, they wrote “SNS” on the WALL. It was as if a dog was marking its territory.

And, of course, they never answered their phones.

There is nothing wrong with Aramex….maybe the pricing should be cut down just a little bit for it to compete with U shop We ship. Other than that, I’m not complaining.

My turn:

1) They’re the worst in dealing with customs. I know for sure they’re targeted by the customs and behind the customs are some trade sharks that would love to kill our hopes of buying cheap stuff from the USA and instead sell us overpriced items from shark stores such as Eurika, Virgin or iCity and the list goes on.

2) The flat price for a 1 kg is the same for a paper envlope?? talk about mass-physics economy!! they should start giving loyal memberships and better price plans for regular users.

3) Once I was almost attacked by our lovely buhraa friends when I drove by them (not knowing it was Mu7aram) and my radion was kinda of audible. Our friendly buhraa own a place by the corner, so I guess The new place is just bad. And it’s even worse than where it used to be at Sharq (no parking spaces). And still not enough parking spaces.

4) I do get sms notifications after I pay at their place by like 45 mins. Talk about programed messaging.

5) I don’t have any magazine subscription but I think they should consider their prices and delivry for our friends down here who have and depend on SNS for their monthly mags.

6) Again, I’m never ordering any DVD or music CDs with Aramex after my case with the customs which took a year and half to settle and still paid like 240 KDs, while I know there many bastards out there getting their flagged items pass though the customs easily because it’s part of their courier services (U don’t know that UPS does that?!!! with DHL, my packages’ inner plastic sealing weren’t even touched)

and a new problem. My order is in the mailbox since 8/1 today is 12. and it didn’t even get out of US. Are you fucking joking me? what the fuck are they waiting for?

Aramex’s so called agreeable resolution is them giving me a shit load of excuses as to why I had to pay extra and to why I had to pick up the parts from the airport.

Doing the same thing 3times in a row and after Aramex telling me it was random checks, I would expect them to offer me some sort of discount for their mishap.

Any change is not specified in the shop and ship agreement. Anyone know a good lawyer??

I have a gift for Easter sent by brother in US and I gave him my US SnS address for shipping.. My biggest mistake..!!! and I just hope that I ever recieve the gift even by Christmas.. I would be lucky..

I have a Proof of Delivery from my Brother (FedEx) and I contacted almost everybody in Kuwait & tried to contact in NY and gave them the details of the item, etc.. still no clue..!!! The delivery was signed my some “M. Fuller” and probably he kept my gift as HIS Easter gift not mine…!!!

I am never able to club my shipments, I always get the 50 gm and 100 gm item inidivdually and pay full shipping while these could be easilly clubbed to save shipping cost. sometimes the items from mailbox are shipped with in 1-2 days while some items stay for 1-2 weeks.. I cant prioritize..!!!

Insurance?? Claim ?? nothing..!!! You lose your KD 500 item and they pay you peanuts as compensation..!!! Its so good… they keep a 500$ item and pay the compensation when it is sure that the item is expensive especially when its a notebook or iPod. I wud like to buy insurance for expensive item I am shipping to cover the risk..

I’ve always been very pleased with Aramex. Shop&Ship is a very efficient service, although it can take a while for packages to move on from the New York depot.

However a parcel which I posted to the UK from the Gulf was lost in transit, and they don’t seem willing to pay for the cost of the actual contents.

They are offering to refund the shipping and pay USD $100 in compensation… which makes sense… but what about the value of the parcel which was lost? I’m supposed to just accept that loss???

Aramex terrible.
They do not deliver.
They promise to deliver but nothing ever happens.
We have been expecting a parcel since approx. 9 May 2008.
We phoned them, contacted them by email. They admitted they do have our parcel (we are recipients of a parcel) but they WILL NOT SEND IT AS THEY PROMISED. The sender of this parcel is also furious.
We know they still have our parcel after all this time because they told us so on the phone, we had to wait in to receive this parcel but it still HAS NOT ARRIVED. We have now written them a letter (if they understand proper letters)??
ARAMEX have let down the recipient of the parcel and the sender of the parcel.

I need some help. I have INCREDIBLY important documents sitting at aramex and they have been transferred from NY to Washington DC for some reason within customs. This is incredible. what does aramex do wromng that fedex and DHL do right? i always get my papers shipped to uzbekistan in 5 days or less now it has been more with aramex due to customs..

1. Who said Aramex cheaper ? By me, the receiver must pay EXTRA COST usd 14.00 for trade-sample worth below usd 5.00 ? This is not happened by other courier

2. Don’t send any urgent documents or sample by Aramex. They kept the parcel 3 days or more in his office before deliver to the customer.

TRICKY BUSINESS BY ARAMEX.
Aramex collecting unnecessary cost from receivers.
Many times we have to pay “clearance fee” to Aramex, when we received parcel, although weight only 1 to 2 kg and worth less than usd 5.-
According to Indonesia custom regulation what we received from other courier services, parcel weight below 20kg and value less than usd 20 is duty and tax free. It means by other courier, the parcel will be delivered immediately and the customer/receiver don’t need to pay any other extra cost.
I copied here the statement I got.

“PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT BASED ON INDONESIA CUSTOMS REGULATIONS, SHIPMENT WITH WEIGHT LESS THAN 20 KG AND VALUE LESS THAN USD 20 WILL FREE FROM DUTY AND TAXES.”

So, “clearance fee” by Aramex is “tricky” and is their way to get some more money from their un-experienced customers.

When we asked to the customer service in their web, they did not replied to the specific question. They just asked for apology and asked for new chance.
What means “new chance” ? Let them do again “tricky” things ?

When we checked and asked about this customs regulations to their office, they easily replied, it is their regulation and pleased us to complaint and spread this information through news paper and internets.
Woouw, I hope the Top Management of Aramex will give open statement to this matter.

hi im very frustrated..im having a really bad experience with aramex! , i ordered clothes from victoria’s secret website, and i put in all my details including mail box number n everything else but victorias secret did not submitt my mail box number so when it reached aramex jfk it was not in my mailbox.. i called the jfk and they told me my packages are in the unknown customer section so he asked me for my details and he told me he will put them in my mail box in couple of minutes..i waited 10 minutes.. 1 hour.. 2 days , one week! i contacted the dubai office and told them my problem they also sent a request three times ! and mr lukas like usual ignores! this has become intolerable this is not the first time they tell me something they say they will do it then u end up calling them a million times! i dont understand how they launch a service and expect people to register if they do this with people! the dubai office has amazing customer service they are really helpful but the JFK ARAMEX OFFICE that’s the messed up one! please do something about my problem i would really appreciate it, and btw im not the only one complaning many of my friends go through the same thing!

you people started to make me worried with your complaints about my next shippment. i ordered stuff worth 1000$ almost and im going to go nuts if it got lost. so far it stayed 3 days going on the 4th day in US Aramex and somthing telling me its going to take longer than this to get shipped to Kuwait. and its going to get me more nuts if it got lost and they told me about the 100$ compensating policy. let’s hope it won’t come to that. but if all the complaints were true then i guess the most reasonable issue for Aramex to solve is with the Kuwaiti customes cause it doesn’t make any sense to pay full fees and they only had half of the job done.

and about the phone i won’t compalin about that i ranged few times but i figured at the end i wasn’t following the right process through the IVR Aramex is having so it was my mistake.

Fees should be negotiable if weight is exceeding certain limit.

They should send email notifications about aramex’s working hours and non-working days!

US shipping takes TOO MUCH TIME!

does my account in aramex have to be the same perosns’ name in my visa ?because i still don’t have one it’s my mom’s . i have ordered some stuff from ebay since december 26th and still nothing no email no sms at least they should warn us before they arrive so we can be ready with the cash and everything

Aramex is not a good courier Service. First reason Not supports Customer. Second is I booked a parcel BOMBAY TO PUNJAB LUDHIANA on 1august today is 5august . yet not received.When i booked from BLAZEFLASH , DTDC and BlUEDART . it receives in 2-3 days.

After the service I got today I can say that ARAMEX or I should say ARAMESS is one of the LOUSIEST delivery service you’ll find in the planet. You would think that by signing up to their SHOP & SHIP service they could handle a simple task of creating a new customer account, but I found that even the easiest task was a CHALLENGE for the courier snailmail service.

I signed up on August 6, 2009 at their branch location on King Abdullah Street (Exit 10) in Riyadh after paying 132 riyals Raed, the customer service agent, took my money, didn’t bother to tell me what would happen next, until I asked him. Then he told me I should be expecting a mailing address/P.O. Box address via email within 2-3 days.

I asked Raed for the Branch phone number and strangely enough ARAMEX can’t afford to get a land line number, basically there was no office telephone. Raed gave me his personal cell phone.

After 2 days had passed, I called the 3rd day on Saturday and asked Raed where’s my US Post Box address, he replied that to give it another 2 days. Honestly, I got fed up and emailed Mohammed Badaway, the Shop and Ship Manager about sending me an address ASAP. I’m still waiting till this day for a reply. I don’t know if Mr. Badaway is dead or in acomma, unfortuantely it seems like Aramex is an expert at hiring a staff that’s unresponsive.

On Monday I popped in the office again and paid Raed a visit & asked him where’s my address. He telephoned Mr. Ibrahim and didn’t get through and got a hold of him on the 2nd try. Raed said that Mr. Ibrahim would contact me by cell phone, they confirmed my cell/mobile number. I’m still waiting for Mr. Ibrahim’s call. Again, I can only say ARAMESS is reliable for taking your $$money$$ and giving their customers a headache. I really doubted that MR. Ibrahim would have called so I asked Raed, “Well, what if he doesn’t call me.” Raed replied that he himself would call me.

I gave up on ARAMESS and on August 11th, I decided to cancel my account with the MESSY courier service and get my $$ back. I don’t understand why I would have to beg for service. Raed doesn’t have much work to do. If you pay him a visit you’ll find that there’s nothing going in that office, it’s dead as a doornail. SNAILMAIL SERVICE YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM..That should be their new motto…. .

1.Not organised.
2.Irresponsible replies / answers,
3.No proper tracking system if the items are lost
4.Put you onhold for a longtime since aramex representatives doesn’t know how to answer a customer

ARAMEX – Crap

Hi guys ,
I am thinking of buying an HP laptop from their website in the US and delivered it to Kuwait through Aramex Shop and ship but I noticed that HP states that “We do not ship to PO Boxes.”
Does that means that I cannot use Aramex ??

I have been a member for 10 years now. Their prices use to be GREAT! 2KD was minimum charge. Their charges went up then they added 1KD for quick standard clearance for customs and so minimum charge is now 4KD yet clearance is taking longer. We pay duties to customs so why the **** are we paying 1KD per package? I think Aramex is pocketing that extra 1KD!!!

Also I buy a LOT of stuff online. I use to combine shipping and have packages sent every 2 weeks as it was cheaper. Aramex stopped too!

My complaint…. Anytime I saved money, the service got cancelled. Cost went up, service slowed down.

Take off 1kd clearance charge per package that was supposed to clear stuff faster and take your time! Bring back bulk shipping! You know your ripping us off!

I am from Chennai, India. I ordered an item on ebay its location is also Chennai. The seller shipped the item on the same day. Aramex took 4 days to deliver the item within the city…. Crappy couriers

I requested a pick up from Amman Jordan to Saudi Arabia Hail which takes minimum 3 days But my shipment is Hanging in Riyadh (according to web site) and not been deliverd now 11 days. I even calledup their Operations Manager he replied last 2 days with false promise but now he too does not pickup call. Toll free number has blank reply waiting for reply mail everyday Mail me if anyone have solution for this.

To be completely fair. Sometimes the fault doesn’t fall on aramex. Sometimes the real one to blame is the customs officers and thier lack of doing thier job right and on time. So be fair and curse your government as well

My husband ordered flax seed oils and omega-3 supplements, and when we FINALLY received the order, the jars were boiling hot. Supplements like those must be kept in a cool place, if not refrigerated..such supplement will become rancid and can form free radicals that could cause the big C..!! U could just imagine we have to dump the whole lot. Thank you Aramex for nothing!

Aramex is worse than DHL in their service. Bunch of totally unprofessional team. Saudi services suck big time

Things i hate about aramex.
1) They never call u regarding ur delivery.
2) They never bother to pick up ur call whatever time u call.
3) They are not at all bothered about the urgency of the situation.

Aramex claimed that our package was detained at customs in some third country, UK (not the shipping country — India, not the delivery country — Ireland), and demanded that we pay customs fees. Why? I sent stuff to Ireland many times with US postal service and I had never had my packages detained at customs or had UK call me with some surprise charges. As we were trying to figure out why this was happening these past two weeks, Aramex informed us that they simply destroyed the package!

i hate aramex in every way!!!
and if you google atleast 70% of customers hate them
that’s it and period!!!!
such a bad employees and no customer service at all!!!

the things i hate is they called me to say that my packagesare mislocated(as they don`t know where are they) along with 170 kilo just vanished and can`t find them they are even worse than any post mail i know

These people are criminals. Never answer phone. They doubled the value of goods to collect more taxes even though i and the shipping company gave them proof of actual value. My package sits in a warehouse for them to loot and no response to my questions. NEVER USE THESE CRIMINALS!!!

I bought calculator from NY and was charged very well by the seller and he promises to send it to Saudi Arabia in a weak. After four days arrive to Tel Aviv in Israel….
I try to contact them they said we are not responsible NY is the one who send it ask them to buy the same product from local market .They refuse ,I am waiting more than a month for their investigation ..I did submit several complain .
Any idea what to do with ARAMEX

I had my passport sent by ARAMEX from Yazd to Tehran(IRAN)on 10/12/2014 which got lost.I have got in touch with ARAMEX in Yazd,Tehran,DUBAI and NEW YORK but all in vain.Nobody is ready to give a reply or take the responsibility of all the problem and loss I have to go through.But I will make sure that I sue ARAMEX and make them pay for the loss.

Aramex is the worst, they gave my parcels to another customer, it’s good that the customer called me and told me he received my parcels by mistake, maybe another customer will take them and not tell me, I swear this story is real, I can’t trust Aramex anymore.

And one time before they lost my parcel and found it after a month after I complained to the manager, bad company.

Never go for Aramex….waste shit…. I ordered some Xmas gifts in 2013 and its almost going to be next Christmas 2014…. Still it shows in Transit!!! And never got the package… Dhl forever..

Never I will Use Aramex any more in my life , he lost my passport while am in out of y country, the consequence for this was lost of my familiar travel , lost of my residence in the country , and other hollyday travel for all my family and very economical ,psychical ,physical stress cost produced of this unresponsability ……

Aramex is a Joke. They should change the name to ARAMESS.

My parcel arrived 6 of April. Only yesterday, 13 of April somebody came to my door to deliver PART of the parcel, and asking me to pay. I couldnt pay (around 50 usd) because I didnt have cash with me (Hey, nobody call me before to let me know that they were coming) plus, i didnt know that I have to pay anything else after already paying 353 USD for delivery services. The delivery guy then say that he was going to come back after 4 pm. He arrived, only to collect the money and not with the rest of the parcel that he suppose to bring with him. Then, I refusse to pay and he took the already delivered items, back with him, saying that today MORNING I was going to receive the full parcel. Off couse, no calls and nobody show up. What is also very anoying is that the delivery man wrote ” attempted Delivery-customer refused to receive the Shipment”!!
This is so unrespectfull to the customer. Unbelievable. Apart from all that when the parcel arrived to the country nobody inform me, and when I contact Aramess they start to ask for documentation that They should be managing. On the top of that, after more delay, they asked me for Import Code (????) Im not a company! The Items are for personal use!
I request for door to door service.
And here Im, another morning totally wasted thanks to Aramex, (Aramess I insist)

I have a shipment from USA and it had to be delivered in Egypt but while tracking it I found the shipment in Jordan on hold for 4 days.
I phoned them many times and they said the shipment went by mistake to Jordan and on hold in customs and they will correct the situation and ship it back to Egypt but nothing happened.
I wonder why the shipment is on hold in Jordan customs..does this mean I’ll pay customs duties in Jordan and pay it again in Egypt and why this delay.

Total losers and liars that’s what they are. No notion of what is customer service. no delivery on their promises. put you on hold for 20+minutes, they say we will call you back they never do. I’m doing two things: 1-looking for an alternative, and 2- spread the word about them so that people shy them away

This company just simply exposed my personal information on their public websites without my consent (shipment details) and no prompt action were taken by the staff even after I notify them.
I am surprise this is the way that an global MNC to run the business.
The worst delivery services I ever had. With UNPROFESSIONAL, INEFFICIENCY, IRRESPONSIBLE, ARROGANT AND INACTIVE STAFF’S ATTITUDE towards the request of customers.
It took a week for items that sent over from Singapore to Malaysia with my endless call to Aramex over and over again just to get my things delivered.
Which is so much inefficient compare to your competitor that deliver the things from Singapore to Malaysia by spending only 2 workings days only.
Secondly, Aramex did exposed the personal information on the websites without my consent (VIOLATION OF MY PRIVACY) and the staff keep on telling me that it is okay for them
to exposed it on the shipment websites when I request them to removed it. Somemore telling me that there is nothing that can be done if somebody owns my name and ic number. What if my identity was being misused by others to do some criminal things?
The staff was promised to remove the personal information by Monday and did not keep the promise to solve the issue on the day itself by going back home straight after I contact Aramex again and again.
The staff even promised to call me back by today 11AM to give me a reply on this issue but there were NO CALL WAS RECEIVED AT ALL FROM ARAMEX AT ALL.
A company who possess the so inefficient and inactive staff respond to what the customers request which is so contradict for what they had shown in the websites :
” At Aramex, we believe that quality people produce consistently excellent service, and CONTINUOUSLY INNOVATE TO MEET CUSTOMER NEEDS, which is a cornerstone of our business.”
With arrogant and rude attitude of staff that don’t even care the reputation of company that doesn’t mind me to shared how they deal with the customers.
NO WONDER THERE ARE SO MANY NEGATIVE COMMENT AT HERE ON HOW WORST THE SERVICE ARE FROM THIS COMPANY.
AS THE MANAGEMENT NOT EVEN TAKE THE INITIATIVE TO IMPROVE THE WAY THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS AFTER RECEIVED SO MANY COMPLAINTS!!!!

aramex never reaches you at time, I got a message that my order will reach me on 18 and today is 19 and its still now come!!!

I ordered a package from amazon.com to be delivered to sweden.. when the package reached ARAMEX in england someone (for some reason) changed the zipcode in my address and the package was delivered to a destination 600 kilometers away.

i called the swedish aramex office and was met with a total rage and no help whatsoever. he told me they have had like several hundred phonecalls from swedes who had their packages sent all over sweden on random zipcodes.

why ? aramex….WHY?

Hi i placed an order online and it was shipped with aramax last week Monday. I was told by my supplier it will take 5-10 days before i can track my order on the aramax website. Im located in aouth africa. Delivery should have been 5-7 days.

My package was shipped from US on 17th and today is 22nd and still there is no further update and any change in status. Today i got the reply on my query that due to some change in flight schedules my package is being delayed……..

The french address never worked for me despite several attempts…ended up returning the item and getting a refund after 10 days of follow up with their useless customer care…

Aramex shop and ship services are getting worse day by day, I ordered a laptop from Amazon and arrived at my Aramex NY box fast. The problem began when it got out from NY to Kuwait!. It took them 4 whole days just to update the status that it arrived to their UAE Hub office, that I may understand, but then the shipment didn’t get out from their until after two days later!! that got even more frustrated! Now you my think that it should go to Kuwait directly, but NO, it arrived Bahrain!!! Why the hell would my shipment go to Bahrain ?!!! to top the frustration further, it didn’t got from there until after 3 to 4 days!!! Now till this day!! there were no update if it arrived Kuwait safely or not!!!

This is the last time am dealing with such low rated service company again!!!!

One shipment for me from Riyadh reached their office in Khobar on 22nd March. But up to now after 6 days I did not receive the same. My office is only 3 KM from their office. very bad service.Two time I complained bu still no action. Everybody should boycott this type of agency.

I recently sent a gift to one of my friend using aramex.. never heard of it before.. I regret my decision so much. They are a bunch of liars who cant do their work properly. It has been over 2weeks and every day they say it will be delivered the next day for sure. And they dont. Recently they said they already deliverd it and i asked my friend and he recieved nothing. Then the next day they said that they cannot find the address and he lives in a remote area and they will charge me extra. First they dont do their work they spout nonsense and lie and then they say we have to pay extra. The customer service is horrid. This company should either learn how to work professionally or shut down for good. I am thoroughly annoyed and frustrated

Aramex is worthless. They pretend to be cheaper at the begining but then steal your money pretending fees from nowhere. The custom charges me 13$ and aramex asks me 33$. Thank you aramex will never use you again.

I send a package to USA last year and it still in transit up to date,then again last month I send another package,its now one month ,and my package only shows departed from the aramaex office where I send it,now have been offered $100,and my two packages

Worst Service Provider..I sent a TV through them.. they delivered a broken tv… They never worry about our time and money,..

we have got a shop and ship package and it is lying in Aramex Kuwait office more than 3 weeks, every time we call them the customer service agent says they will arrange delivery one day after. but no luck until now.

USPS delivered a package to my aramex account buh it’s been days and it hasn’t been reflected in my account

Issues I’ve Experienced with Aramex Shop&Ship

1. US or any other country delivery timing is beyond our control so When a package is delivered to the US/NY on a weekend, USPS marks it as “delivered to agent/individual.” After that, I get no updates for 3 days from S&S and it drives me nuts trying to figure out if USPS actually delivered it to the agent. Why can’t they update the system to let us know the package is safe and in good hands? They could then take their time to ship it. This way, customers would have peace of mind knowing the shipment is secure and with Aramex.

2. Aramex provides an option to file a claim, but the questions they ask require details we often don’t have, we need to know the shipping label or airway bill to get this information, we have to contact the seller. If the seller is cooperative, they might provide the details, but if not, we’re stuck.

3. The tracking system is often inaccurate and doesn’t update in real-time. For example, a package takes only 1 day to arrive in Dubai. Once it clears customs, it sits in their warehouse for 2-3 days before delivery. I know this because I receive emails: The first email says the package has left the origin. The next day, I get another email confirming it has arrived and cleared customs, along with the TAX/VAT invoice. However, the tracking system still shows the package as “in transit” and hasn’t updated to reflect that it’s in Dubai. Only 2-3 days later does it update to show the package has arrived, cleared customs, moved to the Dubai Hub, and is scheduled for delivery.

4. The customer service phone line is the only option available for all branches. There’s no direct line to contact a specific branch for help. The landline number is never answered, so expect to rack up mobile bills if you try to hold the line waiting for someone to pick up. My advice? “Stop making telecommunication companies rich don’t call Aramex! Email responses are slow, and the answers are often unclear. It seems most of their staff are lazy and don’t bother to provide proper assistance.

5. Aramex driver usually calls me 30 minutes before delivery, which I appreciate. However, deliveries are often not on time and tracking is not accurate therefore, we don’t know when he will show up.

6. Their charges have gone up, and I don’t even understand what they’re charging for. For example, there’s a “service fee” of 7+ Dhs added to the shipping fee. What exactly is this “service” for? It’s unclear.

8. Sometimes, they upload all transaction details as images, but most of the time, there’s no transparency. This lack of accountability is frustrating.
