Just tried accessing Twitter and found it hacked by an Iranian Cyber Army (no joke).
The copy on the site now says:

It’s not necessary that they hacked the webserver it’s very possible they hacked some DNS Servers in the region and forwarded Twitter to one of their ready made Victory Pages 🙂
