That’s great. But everyone knows the Kuwaiti military/police couldn’t run a lemonade stand if their lives depended on it. All this means is that the Government has more “slots” to assimilate women into the social welfare machine. When meaningful changes are made, I’ll celebrate. When it comes to woman’s rights for example, it would be the day children born to Kuwaiti women married to foreign men can have Kuwaiti citizenship.

This is a nice initiative. It’s good to see Kuwaiti women taking on more male oriented jobs. I also noticed that a decent number of women are starting to work on the oil fields (jobs where the response “we want men” is not unheard of).
Hopefully this is a good sign.
