Abdulaziz is a 15 year old Kuwaiti kid that I believe has a lot of potential to become a great film maker one day. He’s currently got three videos up on his YouTube channel but my favorite is the one above. When I read film maker I thought I was going to see some films that were made. These are just short cute youtube videos.
I enjoy making videos myself. Here’s some constructive critisim.
1. When you record something, press the record button, hold the shot for a second, then really record. In some of your shots I can tell you set the frame from right when you pressed the record button because the frame shakes just a bit, which is caused by your finger pressing the record button.
2. I can tell you’re using iMovie for editing, which is a pretty good editing program for beginners. Some things I noticed, don’t use the default font, it’s so tacky. Another thing is to make sure you set the fade-in fade-out audio to zero, because in your harmless scare video I can hear the audio quickly fading in and out. You don’t want that effect when doing a short film.

For a 15 year old his videos are very promising and he has potential. Especially the way he composes his shots and shifts to blurring and sharpness.
Hopefully he’ll continue with this and not give up in a few years.

The work is good, however the road ahead is too tough and people are already far far ahead at this profession, even at 15. Aziz needs to catch up quickly. At 18, students do make proper feature films. So its the time to be on toes.
