Baking Tray at the Avenues

Looks like Baking Tray is going to be opening up in Avenues Phase II. They’re opening up in place of where Obika used to be which I think is kind of a dead zone right now. But, with SNOG opening up next door and Phase III opening up next year, that passageway should end up getting more traffic.

I would like to see more Kuwaiti concepts thrive because they are better overall, however bad locations such as this one, even with phase 3 opening up, is in my opinion a bad step. Kuwaiti concepts such as this should take prime locations instead of PQ, starbuck etc. It’s sad to see the Avenues mall, the largest in Kuwait not giving a single prime spot to local concepts. You don’t see that in any other mall in the world.

Avenues is one of the worst “mega-malls” I have ever been too. Complete lack of character, no variety of coffee shops, no media stores. Horrible gizz crowd…It’s just so dull when compared with Dubai mall for example.

12 Starbucks under one roof?

Seriously?
