I ordered a package from Amazon on Tuesday and I chose overnight shipping. Package arrived to my USWS mailbox on Wednesday and shipped at the same time. Today morning the package arrived to Kuwait and is now being delivered to me.
Now for my sign off.. Aramex sucks!

Hey…thanks for the thumbs-up for USWS. Was thinking of signing up for Aramax’s mail box but since you recommend USWS, think I’ll go with it instead.
definitely USWS, aramex is god-awful, if it was the choice between them, definitely USWS
Not to come off sounding like a cheap ass, but what abt the costing….are they both more or less the same. Or is one significantly cheaper than the other
pricing is very similar. only difference is with USWS if you pay for the package as soon as it ships then you get a 2% discount. other then that the prices are the same.
payment is easier with USWS since u pay only using your Knet or Visa card. With aramex its cash on delivery which is a hassel if u are not the cash carrying type of person.
My experience has not been so great, my ordered arrived in Wendsday last week, and I still did not get it today. I tried to pay from the USWS site and it rejected my Kuwaiti Visa card. I managed to call the driver of the Van and yesterday he said he had an accident, I called him this morning and he said he was in Fahaheel and he was on his way, I called him 1 hour ago and he was still in Fahaheel and he was on his way. I called him just now and he was in Fahaheel and he is on his way again, but the streets are crowded so it will take him 3 hours to get to my house. 🙁

Stick to Aramex, at least they are a real company and their people do not lie.
If you don’t pay for your package online then you can’t get the package. You have to pay for your package first then they deliver. Thats why your package hasn’t been delivered yet.

Well I called them and told them that their web page rejected my Visa, they told me it was NBK’s fault and it always happens and I should complain to NBK, so I asked, what next?, so they said we will deliver your package and you can pay in cash when you receive it. I said ok. I am still waiting, I just called the delivery guy and he ignored my 3 phone calls and answered on the 4th, he is still in Fahaheel but he is on his way 🙁
I just called again repeatedly 10 times, the driver answered on the 11th call. He told me he has a flat tyre and he will come in 2 minutes. What kind of BS is that! Yesterday he had an accident, today he has a flat tyre, either he has a really crappy car or it is standard policy to lie to the customer.

I haven’t had any problems with USWS either. Don Veto, try paying with your K-Net. They reject my credit card but my K-Net works fine. Also, NBK are retarded and only accept payments during working hours (or so it seems). Paying in the middle of the night usually fails.
I tried paying during working hours still rejected. Anyway, I got my stuff 10 minutes ago. The driver looked really overworked, he said the other driver had an accident so he was covering all of Kuwait today and he is the only driver.
Maybe it was my bad luck, or maybe USWS are still learning the business.
Thamer thats a good theory since my late night payments usually fail but then when i try the next day in the morning it works..

I used USWS 3 times so far. The 1st time went smoothly and very impressive. The other 2 times their site was not accepting my credit card and the customer support did not reply to my emails! For some reason their web site does not allow IP addresses outside Kuwait! They are still doing better than Aramex, I guess until they take customers beyond their capacity like what Aramex did.

Another option for receiving packages ordered online is through The Sultan Center’s “Just Ask” program, available at Salmiya, Sharq, and Al Kout stores or via email through their website: http://www.sultan-center.com (You should know that I work for the company, but I’m also a satisfied customer of the service!)
