Its worth mentioning that they came to Kuwait because they found out its the fattiest country in the world after America. lOl.
Second reason is because weight reduction surgeries are popular here, and they discussed on the show.

anyway, i think you had a post about finding families for interviews back when the bbc was here, remember?

It’s so hard not to eat what you want. I’m just watching the videos above and all I want to do is eat everything they’re having. I’m already planning my lunch which currently is Elevation although I’m hoping by lunch time I would have convinced myself to have something healthier like sushi.

I was watching it just before lunch, but that amputated toe, and that image of the extremely fat guy quickly made me lose my hunger.

It’s called the gym and a healthy lifestyle. Preventing it from the get-co is the best solution.

What are you guys expecting? Kuwaitis that work in the public sector work for a MAXIMUM of 5 hours daily, sitting on their asses of course. Go home, eat 30 servings of machboos, take a nap, wake up and smoke sisha while eating more rice. Where’s the activity? Recipe for disaster. There’s no denying it.

And due to multiple factors, the restaurant industry has become overly SATURATED. A night out consists of going to a mall and of course, eating. People walking around avenues in trainers isn’t going to do anything. Get up and change your habits, your body will thank you in the long run.

I don’t see what low work hours have to do with weight gain. I work 9-10 hours and, like almost everyone else, sitting on my ass most of the time. If I worked 5 hours I could go to the gym right after work and actually get home at a reasonable time

Just trying to say that after work there’s no effort to exert any sort of energy. I understand that after a long day at work, it does not sound too appealing. Sedentary lifestyle must be horrible – thank goodness I’m not part of the problem.

Wow, pretty much sums up the situation of Kuwait, really. I think we should’ve waken up before, it’s too much for now. Just stroll down the amll and you’ll find tons of wieght moving around, it’s like there are more fat people in this country than healthy and smart people and all the blame should go to the food joints. I would love to read the scientific numbers of about Kuwait’s fat situation.

and Mark, I’ve got a question for you, this video was uploaded today or maybe yesterday, the account of the uploader was made yesterday, sounds weird to me how fast you’ve found it, fishy, maybe. Anyways, thanks for sharing.

Your stupid ! You talk more than they eat…

Food joints must not be blamed. You should be blamed for having their burgers and Promoting them !

No Matter what.
Kuwait is Heaven for food lovers !
My friends who left Kuwait and went to their own country says Mcdonalds, KFC, Pizza hut are not as good and tasty as Kuwait !

No it isn’t. It’s sad and it’s a very real, unfortunate public health problem. I hardly think shaming people by calling them and their serious health issues “a disgrace” is a positive or productive contribution. I’m sure there are many things in your own life which you might be judged to be “a disgrace” for.

I ride my bike in the middle of summer. I’ve ridden when it was 45 degrees. If you want to do it you can. If you want to make excuses you can as well.

You can join a gym, exercise when it’s not summer, or even exercise at home. If you have stairs you can run up and down the steps. Spare 30mins a day for cardio!

Reminds me of this guy who was with me in high school. I don’t care that you did the surgery at least admit that you did. “diet wala” “detox wala”
L O L ! ! ! ! !

That elder Kuwaiti in part 3 should be an inspiration!!
He speaks so well…better than those “city-folk” on the show!

Is it just me? Or did anybody else notice how ignorant and low class these brit participants are and how the Kuwaiti ‘rich dude’ (driving an old KIA!!!) insulted Kuwait with his ‘eating is our only exercise’ statement?

Please don’t even get me started on the narrator who talks about how the 2 million expats here are here to tend hand and foot to the q80s…haha shes hilarious if not infuriating….presents a house with cheap aluminum doors as a mansion…

OH! OH! and how the q80 dude teaches the brit how to each Majboos with his hand by sayin…hold like its sand…SAND!!!! the connotations are beyond degradin’! One could go as far as sayin’ he’s an uncle tom.

That’s because you can’t possibly think of anything to retort with other than resort to moronic insults. Thanks for reading them nonetheless. : )

LOL I can think of plenty of things to say to YOU that are far more expansive creatively and with a much more extensive and erudite vocabulary than yours. How old are you, smartypants, eleven? The word asinine is moronic to you, hmm?

ooo snap! its the old ‘I know english betta than you defense’…typical post-colonial racist mentality…’how old are you?’ sorry sensitive sally didn’t think you’d get your panty hose in a bunch over a 248am comment…fyi u sound like a real over the hill fossil to me : )

fyi i must admit though i did have to google erudite…so u got me there…thanks for makin a eleven year old feel like he’s worthless : )

and btw, FOR GOD SAKE, I have pain in my ankle and I cant stand alot for a while, and yet these people got nothing wrong with them and lazy!? they should see those who are worst, I have friend no right feet and yet lost weight!

I just saw video, and btw what is with “kuwaiti has salary of 80,000 pound weather they work or not” seriously!? o.o;

and “immigrate workers get paid as less as 80 pound a month” that’s 30k.d. who works for 30k.d.? –;

their information is inaccurate.

Well done to all involved.. I was surprised, it’s quite well produced and certainly hits the nail on the head for its target audience. It was good to see the young Brits change their viewpoints regarding their morbidly obese lifestyles and realizing the consequences of letting it run amok and destroy their lives and futures.

What happened to Aziz? Is he still alive? Did he have the surgery? I mean yeah for the Brits small follow up but I feel this is not complete without a full follow up on all involved.
