There are some parts of my car I want to black out. Instead of painting them black I figured I would foil them black. Can someone recommend a place in Kuwait that does good clean foiling?

i suggest vinyl wrap instead of foil.

Autozan’s quality is pretty poor. Maybe they were lazy because I only had an interior panel wrapped (30KD), but the area where the plastic recesses into the AC vent isn’t evenly covered. It doesn’t look like it was painted, basically. When I mentioned this to the installer he gave me an excuse about how it’s not possible to properly foil tight areas and said he couldn’t do any better.

Whats the difference between foil and vinyl?
vinyl looks nicer i reckon. johnny showed me this german place that does it i dubai and its amazing. i want to do my whole car in mate black 😀

oh just paint it it will end up cheaper
if u want to do a good foiling u need to go to auto design. but keep in mined that the foiling want last for long the life is max 1 year and then it will start to pill-of so i advice you to paint the part. it is sheep and u will get better quality.

It depends on the quality of work you want and how much you want to pay.
I wanted to foil parts of my car around a year back before i chose to get a matte black stripe. I got the matte black stripe done at a small shop in Zeena street for 15KD. The same job was quoted by Autozan at 150KD. The Zeena street one is of a lower quality but no one can really tell and i couldnt tell either, but after over a year of heat, rain, sand, dust and regular wear and tear i now need to replace parts of the sticker.
The thing is, i checked out all the foiling companies and non of what they install really looked like it was of a high quality. I wanted something similar to the thick vinyl sticker they use on the stock GT500 at the factory, its a little over a millimeter thick but i couldnt find it.
I personally think installing a sticker on your car for the price of a paint job is ridiculous but im still looking for the high quality stuff. Give us a hint if you find it.
Foiling my entire car was quoted to me by Autozan at 600+ depending on the time it would take to work. The zeena street shop told me he could have it on the car and ready within the hour for 60KD…
Zeena street guy sounds like what i am looking for. just need to foil my side view mirrors, front grill, 2 door handles and parts of the bumper thats silver.

hey mark , 2nd crossroad entering al zina street from canadadry go right an orange shop ,ask for it , cheaper than foil a car, better than autozan , and tottaly not my shop nor my frnds , try it
Yeah orange shop is where i got my car done, only shop in zeena street with a vector based plotter and the guy named Lokees is good at what he does.
