For 2011 Cinemagic will continue the journey of The Old, The Latest and The Best. Films that would never see the light in Kuwait, films that you should never miss, films that you might like and others might hate but agreed that it added flavor to your taste, films that we should all discover and cherish. I’ve watched two of the movies from this months schedule, Son of Rambow and City of God. Son of Rambow was pretty cool but City of God is like one of the best movies ever made. If you’re going to choose one movie to watch this month then watch City of God.

So which one do you rec for a romantic evening for me and my hubby?
not into romantic movies myself but if i would have to choose one it would be Il Postino
Oh yes, love it.Funny and poignant at the same time.
THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES
now thats a piece of work.
I have seen # 1, 2, 3 & 6. None of them are “romantic”, but would reccomend Secret in their eyes. (Watch the uncut/uncensored versions )

Yes, really City of God is super. I’ve seen it maybe 2 years back. but a dvd. of course will not be compared to Cinema feel.
City of God is an excellent movie, like Slumdog Millionaire, some images of poverty and violence are hard to forget
Marking my calender! Thanks for the update 🙂
looking 4ward to THE MAID and CITY OF GOD
thanx for the post
Finally something I like.
I live in Salmiya, but then howcome I never knew about this?
Anywayz, how does this work? i just show up on the day, pay a buck & watch the movie or do I have to do a advance booking?
I’m really looking forward for the good, the bad & the wierd.
after reading the comments I think I’ll watch Cith of God too.
