Pet Zone in Al-Rai recently got a dog tag machine. Actually it’s a pet tag machine but I got a tag for my dog. You get to choose a tag from a variety of shapes and colors and then you tell them what you want to print on the front and back. You also get to choose the font you want and then you get to watch your tag being made. It takes around 5 minutes and costs just KD2.
I ended up going with a pink tag for my male dog because they didn’t have this shape in any other color. Once they get a blue or black I’m going to go back and get another one made. If you don’t know where Pet Zone is click [Here]

Cheers,
Omar
very good price, cause I used to make it at Animal Care which costs 5 KD
You should post a picture of Geo with his name tag on so we can see the size.
That’s not pink… its ‘fuchsia’
π
First you dress him up in reindeer antlers and now you get him a pink tag. Why Mark why? π
This is going to be the new Heba in kuwait ;p you will see girls wearing them as necklaces and guys having them as keychains!
This must be the same store as in Dubai, let’s hope, because this is where I bought my Shitzu years ago (pure bread) and brought him to Kuwait. I hope they sell pure bread dogs. FINALLY, this could be civilized, at least, let’s hope.
just visited them about couple of weeks bag. They have 4 dogs and a cat. And pure puppies.. don’t seem too happy there… π
P.S. Sorry I misspelled purebread, I meant, purebred. And thank you for the map!I will put this shop on my to-do list.
exactly like my male chowhow tag pink bone lol
finally.. I had to have all mine in Denmark while home.
first of all… geo is pink inside and out… get over it… stop trying to change him.
secondly, i thought ur not supposed to have ur dog wear a tag with his name on it…
KSPATH also has a pet tag machine at the shelter in Wafra. Unfortunately we don’t deliver, but they are available at the shelter during normal business hours. We also bring the machine to many bazaars during the fall/winter season. And I’m sure we have dog bones in more than just pink…
Yet another great reason to come out and volunteer or even adopt a new pet.
Petzone has much more to offer π

I happen to know that Petzone is owned by the same people who own IVH. People made their feelings about IVH pretty clear in another recent post. Besides only having the pink bones, there is also that little issue of profiteering in an industry where compassion is both an ally (think CSR) and a natural deviation from business as usual (think doctor turning a dying man away at the door). The veterinary hospital that does at-cost work for a shelter gets all the recommendations for the hundreds of animals adopted every year. Hint: Royal Animal Hospital.

I don’t know where you got that information from but Pet Zone is not owned by the same owners of IVH.
Also they didn’t only have pink bones. They had a black on one side, zebra stripes on the other. They also had a variety of other shaped tags as well in different sizes and colors.
Pet Zone has four owners. Two of them are IVH owners and two of them are independent. I know them, and they are nice enough people. I will retract the comment about the pink bone as it was intended more for sarcasm than fact. I’ll stand by the rest.
Same machine as in Petsmart in the U.S.!
PET ZONE and IVH are completely separate businesses, It just happened to be that the ONE of the TWO owners of PET ZONE and the owners of IVH are relatives.
