A new and small drive through car wash opened up at the gas station near my house. It’s an Oula gas station at the end of 4th Ring Road towards Salmiya. What’s cool about the car wash is the fact you don’t leave your car while it’s getting washed. It’s more fun that way and the sound of the machines and water around the car makes the whole experience sound like a Nine Inch Nails song. Very cool!

Have you tried the one at Oula gas station at the end of the fifth ring road near salmiya?? It’s really cool and it’s a laser car wash which means it has no brushes or anything.. Your car never gets touched by anything!
I love car washes and I especially love when I can get my car washed while sitting in the Car. And what better place than this new place that has opened up near the Oula gas station in Salmiya?
Guys, how much that costs? and do they wash it from the inside as well??

It was good, problem is because its so much they can only dry like 3 cars at a time. When it was my turn to get the car washed he was like they don’t have interior i was like wtf, i’ve been waiting here 15 minutes and u tell me there isn’t interior cleaning. He was like they were loaded, i looked there were like 2 or 3 cars. I told him its a z4 takes 2 seconds to clean from the inside and he agreed…
That was on Friday.
They r sucks, I didnt like them, the drying wasnt fine from the guys standing out side the machine, also the interior cleaning wasnt cool, like you should be supervising over them. usually I do it at the one in Qortoba. they are the best
You can also stay in the car while your car is washed in the 4th ring road petrol station car wash!
I never leave my car while it’s getting washed it’s much fun ;]
Here’s a thought – have YOU tried to clean the interior yourself??? It’s free and as you said, takes hardly any time at all….would have saved you all that wasted waiting time..
i thought they’d have drive through car washes in kuwait…hugely popular in the UAE and Oman. good to know everyone enjoyed it! 🙂
In Dubai there’s a drive through that doesnt use brushes but pumps air at the car (cleans with water and air jets): surprisingly more effective and it doesn’t leave microscratches on the paint.
Drive thru car washes are the worst thing you can do for your cars paint job.

rv: we have always had drive through car washes but u had to leave the car during the wash. this is the first one i know of in kuwait where u can stay in the car.
If you cant sit in the car while its being washed you really cat a drive-thru car wash.
Dubai has had these at Emarat and Eppco gas stations since 1996 and its cost just KD 1 per wash.
You only need to get off for 2 or 3 minutes for the interior vaccum after exiting the wash, everything elsehappens while you are sitting in.
PS – There is a new Oula station behind the Mishref fairground which also has the new drive thru car wash
there is another one drive-thru car wash from “Super Service” at Shuwaikh, close by Eureka
be careful they say the brushes damage the paint job

funny you should mention it, i always play NIN through the oula one on 4th ring road. I love going under that machine, it’s like a new fetish i discovered lol
Fine may tale 10 % time of the hand wash time. but what about the interiors. However no match for hand wash.
wasn’t there a place in Shuwaikh that offered the same service? This was before the invasion so I cant really recollect more than that 🙁
It does not get the dirt off your car no matter how “cool” it is. Do it yourself with a CLEAN bucket of soap water. Of course you can let the tcn do it with the same bucket of dirty water and the same dirty rag that he used on the other 20 cars! LOL
