Dusty Beach from Moayad Hassan on Vimeo.
A very soothing 3 minute film by Moayad shot during a dust storm here in Kuwait. Other than a few scenes where you could see the camera reflection and some scenes with excess camera shake, this video is pretty well made.
Thanks Nasser!

I have always wondered…what is that building shown at 00:16?
Why use sepia tone effect when you can just shoot on a dusty day? LOL
Actually there’s a haunted beauty in this video, I really like it
This looks cool. I especially like the waves at 01:55 – 12:10. Are any special effects being used or it it just plain old gravity? I only ask because the water seems almost like it’s racing… that is to say abnormally fast. In any case, this video was well-made.
Does anyone know where I can buy attachments for the Canon G11? The Canon dealership doesn’t have any.I’m specifically looking for the Opteka HD wide angle lens. Thanks

the music is kinda cheesy, but besides that, its a pretty good video.

^^ and btw you need an adapter to fit that lens to the camera.
hate dust :[
Nice
Amazed that he managed to avoid the empty plastic bottles and all of the other litter that invades the beaches…lets be careful out there…
Great video. maybe if he used a polarizing filter he could have avoided the reflection in the water.
Nice work, the music is the best part!
Thanks FYI,but I was trying to find a local store. The Opteka HD wide angle lens for G10/G11 comes with an adapter.
What camera is he using? and dont tell me its G11.
So vivid.
I’m lovin it. Moayad is really talented guy.
At First Glimpse i thought its MARS
music source 🙂 ?
beginning of the video you really captured the mood, then you broke the whole feel when you started shooting snails, one or two would be fine but 6 or more was not a good idea that got boring, thats all i have to say but gratz for a nice movie
I liked the fact that it was shaky and that we could see his reflection. It was real. The people behind the cameras should not be ghosts, and the fact that we could see his shadow was intriguing.
