Someone is selling an Eleanor on Q8Car. Eleanor is the codename for the Ford Mustangs seen in both versions of the film “Gone in 60 Seconds”. In the original 1974 version of the movie, Eleanor is a 1973 Mach 1 coupe, while in the 2000 remake, Eleanor is a modified 1967 Shelby GT500. my gossh!! this is a beauty, totally powerful car! I bet it’d go through stone walls getting out of the other side and keep going, my dream car! actually I don’t mind paying 20 000 KD if I had the amount! this car worth it! i dunno why the hell the owner is selling such beauty, I’d probably kill him for doing such thing!

i heard a rumor about a guy who has it in mishrof and its a fake only the body of the car is real but under the hood is a fake engine. but if this is the real deal then the car is worth 16.000 coz its one of the sexiest car ever

the real elanor will cost over a $1mm last I heard. but it has to be authentic and jumber matching. however there is a company in texas that makes “copies” of it based on regular ’67 mustang and they will even install a ‘0 KM engine there for you. their highest model will have a supercharger installed.
this is probably not a real Shelby GT500, most Eleanor replica’s are made out of Fastback GT’s, professionally done replica’s cost as much as $150k, so in that respect, I find this particular one quite cheap, I mean 16k for what seems to be a well built car.
well, this is not a copy cat of the real shelby GT500, in fact if you can simply check the interior of the car (regarding my info, there’s alot that should be to the right of the driver) while this one has nothing! (turbo boost for example) as if it has been removed or as said maybe something like being called a chinese version! maybe after all…
nontheless, with what you can see, you can still bring it back to life! just regarding that price?! YES IT IS CHEAP! you got like 20 000 KD left (compared to the real prices) to bring back whatever she’s missing!

Mark, there is also an Eleanor parked in Mishref…all dusty and dirty. It looks as if it hasn’t been driven in quite some time but still makes me stop and sigh everytime I pass by!

My dad has a 2009 Cervini-modded Shelby/Eleanor-bodykit for sale too (which I hope never gets sold hahaha!)
most of them are reps anyway. but if you think about it. 4-5000kd for a cleanish fastback + 5000kd for a full exterior make over. I still don’t see how he got the extra 6,000K.D. If you really want one, buy a fastback with a good engine and interior and just do it yourself.
But even then you’re driving a fake GT500. It’s like all the new 2004+ stangs on the streets that have the GT500-look alike body kits only to have a GT engine or even a POS 6cyl with an auto tranny.
