We’re there dude. I’ll be moonwalking the whole time 😀 gonna play that youtube clip of bedoins dancing to smooth criminal on my iphone in loop

…Why? I mean I understand that the man…you know what? Never mind.

If it gives you peace then more power to you. Mark if you’re going please share any photos you take. Please.

Lighting a candle is a symbolic form of showing love, get over it.

Just as prostrating and kneeling are forms of worship to some, just as beating one’s chest, just as lighting a fire, just as greeting with your right hand rather than your left, just as drinking the wine and eating the bread, just as saluting with a flick of your hand by your forehead. There is absolutely no need to be bitter towards people try when they try and express their emotions.

That’s why 5-6 cars of police came and there was a girl who made a huge fight with the police!! MAN i was there and it was crazy!!

@ frankom
inta bess tabi mashakil?! Yoba kaifhom elnaas, the constitution gives them the right to do what ever they want.

why can’t ppl just leave other ppl alone.. shit i’m sick and tired of ppl criticising any act that is a bit out of the ordinary.. yuba kaifhom.. intaw sh3alaikom.. offfffffffff.. kil yom nafs il mawtho3.. invest your crticism towards ppl that really deserve it.. or are you too chicken to play with the big boys..

Guys leave MJ alone, theres nothing wrong with him showing affection to young kids, plus a little jesus juice never hurt anyone 😀

I just spoke to someone and she told me they got busted for “sha3watha” (witchcarft lol). They’re contacting AlRai newspaper now for a story.

Unfortunately in many parts of the world its a thin line between COPS and THUGS where a peaceful event of love, rememberance and people just getting together over something positive is bullied and thrown up against the wall of being a moral bad.

Whats the truth here? The cops are intimidated by people randomly coming together in a public space, putting aside differences for a common thing and breaking the from norm of controlled predictable activity.

i was there earlier on and next to us on another side of the beach some loser REJECTS were dogfighting. if thats not a moral bad to humans and animals i dont know what is!

at the event kids and adults were lighting a candle for michael and for peace, singing and just having a good time chilling to his tunes and all the nostalgia they bring us. people who could ever construe that as witchcraft are the ones with the SICK PERVERTED minds.

lol, I won’t leave MJ alone until a “leave MJ alone” vid comes out. Preferably by Chris Crocker. ;P

Thanx to the people who think that Michael Jackson deserves this. And to the other people.. I have nothing against u, it’s just that when you get to listen to this wonderful person sing, talk in interviews etc… u will realize that he is a gift from god! I promise each and every one of you that you will change your mind of him when u read about him (autobiography etc..) and listen to all his interviews. I have been a fan since 4EVER.. and I believe that he earned our respects for being such a peacful human being! As they say:”Do not judge a book by it’s cover” i tell u people to please “DO NOT JUDGE MIOCHAEL BY THE WAY HE LOOKS, but ON WHATS INSIDE AND HIS KINDNESS AND LOVE FOR CHILDREN AND PEOPLE OF ALL KINDS AND RACES! The guy never BLEACHED his skin.. come on. he has VITILIGO. Anyways i respect all peoples thoughts of him. Please listen to his song called CHILDHOOD. As the GREAT KING OF POP once said: “Before you judge me, try hard to LOVE me” And Michael Jackson: I LOVE YOU!! WITH ALL MY HEART!! <3333 KISS KISS!!

Wish I’d been there to witness this tribute event to MJ held at the Marina hall in July 2009.You residents of Kuwait are so very lucky.
Our family left Kuwait for Mumbai India in Oct 1990 after the Iraqi invasion & many Indians were evacuated. We were never able to return to Kuwait & are settled in Mumbai(India) ever since.
There was no such tribute event held in Mumbai in memory of Michael Jackson following his death in June 2009.Such a wonderful talented artiste & human being.
India has too many of its own problems & political issues etc. There was no candlelight vigil event held in a large public spot here in MJs memory even in Mumbai, India’s financial capital & I doubt in other Indian cities either.
However MJs only concert here back in NOV.1996 was a huge event & fully sold out.

Kuwait is comparatively a smaller nation & much more peaceful overall thats why you could hold such an event in public to celebrate the memory of such a talented artiste…Sad that the Kuwaiti cops came later to ruin it for you guys..saying it was witchcraft.

I remember Kuwait with a lot of love inspite of its tight residency laws etc.etc..
God bless Kuwait.

If anyone has a video of Michael Jackson’s first concert held in Kuwait at Al Andalus Cinema I think somewhere in the time period
1984 – 1990(which unfortunately though we were resident in Kuwait there at that time, we were unable to attend) pls post it here in return comments.

Also, did MJ have a concert in Kuwait again in the 1990s or later in 2000s, before his death?
