Is spraying paint on buildings (let alone historic buildings) is something to be proud of? I’m just wondering what the designer of that thing at the top was thinking.

I’m inclined to agree…graffiti can be very artistic however using it to defile one of our few remaining historical buildings and a symbol of our rich culture is counterproductive. I believe the hard work the artist put into the graffiti could have been used in a more modern way, which better represents the P2BK Kuwaiti initiative.

Guys I am not sure you realized this but they didn’t actual spray paint a historical building for their ad. So don’t worry, no building were harmed in producing this ad.

its a painting, called art, representing elements of our country and yes we are proud of our achivments and talents and businesses as the youth of kuwait

spray painting on historical buildings is art? This is vandalism… impairment of public and historical property…

Frankly it turned out to be an annoying trend in Kuwait, some buildings were ruined by this so called ”art”… private and public property..

hope they change the ad 🙂

Mark the date 16 reminded me of something

yesterday i was in Kuwait City and they had LCD displays showing Planet Hollywood Logo, then the number 16, then interviewing Stallone… then some red carpet thing, then again Logo 16 Stallone

I am guessing the message would be than the opening of Planet Hollywood where Stallone would attend is on the 16th of March? Get your DVD ready if that is the case 😀

no…

cuz things start with problems… they get customer feed back … and they fix it for the better…

I hope!

I am sure there are a lot of unique stuff to be out.
Like Writers, Music Composers, Music Players and some art stuff.
Hope to see some good stuff this year

wallah i wish the best to all of them, but still i think it’s bullshit :r I’ve seen way better projects and Kuwaitis are involved. cup cakes and clothes doesn’t make us proud to be kuwaitis, more of makes me proud to be khaya6 and 6abakh — good luck

Guys, this stereotypical image you have of exhibitions in Kuwait with only cupcakes is natural because many exhibitions have spread out this image. P2BK refines a list of over 500 participants to chose the best 130 and provide as best as it could to the public making sure it shines the light on those people that have innovative businesses. Its not businesses only, its talents, achievements, and inventors, so visit the event to see for yourself. Its easy to sit back at home and criticise work we’ve been doing for over 6 months to serve back to our country. I am Kuwaiti, I am proud, and Im a part of P2BK team. Come and enjoy 🙂

innovative or was6a ?

amal l kuwait bl cupcakes wel grafiti .. i hate how directed media and money make some projects as 52 degrees and p2bk important while they are clearly wala eb baiza !

“E7na Amal el Kuwait”!!!!!

Really!! Amal el Kuwait is in cupcakes, cookies, and printed t-shirts! Over-blown statement much!?

OVER OVER blown statement!

P2bk should stop the big drama adverts about them building the leaders and future of Kuwait and be more realistic in saying that they are encouraging hobbies. There is a HUGE gap between hobbies and talents.. let alone, Entrepreneurship! Giving young talents a trophy for entrepreneurship blocks them from learning what is truly needed to be one and underestimate those who truly deserve it.

We need to earn the saying “proud to be Kuwaiti”. It’s a special word and Kuwait needs and deserves more than cupcakes, printed t-shirts and red bull mix for us to shout “I’m proud to be Kuwaiti.”

yes we are proud and when you come and see inventors, achievers, and engineers , and businesses you llknow what p2bk is about, stop the bluff , wake up and do something about your life…

It is a form of judgement formed based on what we know, heard and experienced from the first expo to this day.

on the 16th, I would be extremely happy to see p2bk has improved and now encompass greater potential than it did before.

Everything you expressed up to ” stop the bluff , wake up and do something about your life…” is a proper reply. From hereon, it is highly unnecessary for you to ask me to wake up and do something about my life. Very irrelevant and haughty statement.

If you are part of p2bk team, I believe that you should encourage our support through rational statements.

Goodluck.

I love the idea of P2BK: the concept, the fact that it encourages Kuwaiti talent no matter what the talent is…be it cupcakes or tshirts.

However, I find the team extremely pretentious and to be perfectly honest, after having to deal with them personally I found them quite rude.

P2BK, please offer your volunteers who answer the phones, or deal with people in person, training in dealing with potential participants. They’re very crass, and lack people skills.

Other than that keep up the good work!
