All I was saying is, the guy used to work at Zain’s Hawalli Branch (as a customer service officer) and used to drive a leased Cherokee, now he’s a “Mega Rich” “Telecom Tycoon” who puts his kid to sleep in his £380,000 car. The guy either did something very right, or very wrong!
The car is sure hot. only question is, whats the “sheikh” story and whats the “telecom Tycoon” story!
Ferrari sure did a great job with the design of the hard top. when its down it looks identical to the coupe.

How is he a sheik? Al Wathiqi… I don’t even think he’s Kuwaiti, let alone being a sheik! A sheik is only a person who’s family name is Al Sabah. We’re not in Lebanon, where they call all rich people sheiks. Also, I know many sheiks and not one of them goes by the name of Jassim. I don’t know why but sheiks don’t call their sons Jassim, which is weird because all my friends from Al Sabah have the same names… It’s either Sabah, Jaber, Abdullah, Naser, or Hamed. lol. Plus, I don’t think a “sheik” is that desperate to put a video of himself driving a Ferrari.

This is not unique to Al-Sabah. You notice it because they are more “High profile”. Most Kuwaiti families typically name their sons after their ancestors. That’s why you have the prevalence of certain names in some families like “Thnayan” in Al-Ghanim family or “Jassim” in Al-Jassim family.

Actually if you don’t know why those are common Sabah names I’m not sure you’re Kuwaiti yourself.
A Kuwaiti also doesn’t usually brag that he “knows many Sheikhs” because every Kuwaiti knows sheikhs

I’ve met this person before, he is very skeptical.
He has a Yellow Carrera GT, Maybach(previously),metallic white 458 italia coupe, SL63 Iwc AMG, Red SL65 BS AMG and this new 458 spider.
when I asked him out of curiosity what does he work judging by his flamboyant looks and bragging talk; he told me that he works with Sheikh Hamad Sabah Al Ahmad. (Doubt it)
These couple of years there are new faces to the “mega rich” list. 2 others to mention as well.
Godknows how he acquired his wealth, all i can say many people appear to be using illegal routes to wealth.
Only the new money use the media to flaunt their wealth.
To be honest, I don’t doubt that he works for a sheik. A lot of people these days work for sheiks but in secret. You have all these billionaires like Sahoud and others who in reality are just “figureheads” so that sheiks don’t get all the attention, because they don’t want people talking about them.

I saw that car last week cruising down 4th Ring! I thought he was going to keep going the speed he was driving past the camera(near the City Center roundabout) but he chickened out and slowed down! If he can afford the car, he can afford the little KD20 fine for speeding! That is for sure one sweet ass ride!

God that Ferrari is hot and i don’t normally like them. They hit the jackpot with the 458, really the prettiest Ferrari in ages like Jeremy Clarkson said, even the convertible is done nicely with the hardtop. (f softops, no supercar should have them anymore, Lambo and Astons i mean you guys lol)
