Ferrari Crash

Ferrari

I heard about this earlier in the week and a reader called Aadel just sent me pictures of it. Early Friday morning a Ferrari was involved in a high speed crash on the Gulf Road, I don’t know what caused the crash but judging by the pictures the car got thorn torn up into pieces and then caught fire. You can check out more pictures by clicking on continue below.

This is called population control. Stupid people die fast, due to their life ending actions, to rid the gene pool of their inferior DNA. Some call it evolution.

Good luck

Mark,

This guy ended his life driving a Ferrari real fast and then crashing it “somehow” against solid matter. Would you nominate him for the Nobel prize in physics for this feat? If not, then the gene pool is better off without him.

Cheers 🙂

I worked in automobile industry for 5 yrs in q8 and sometimes u get statistics like: +45,000 accidents in 2003, +60,000 in 2006 and it keeps climbing (i.e.: more sales – sorry to say it), daily average kills is +1.1, common victim age is 20 – 30, road 30 is the most risky and if you reach home safely say al7umdo lelah.

“Driving in Kuwait is hazardous” according to USA official travel guide, check:
https://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_944.html#traffic_safety

LOL is anyone seeing baby heads in the last picture? 😐

Oh and the license plate is photoshopped. I call bullshit.

Nobu,

I would like to think our theory of good driver gene pool improving is true, but its not .. otherwise how would you explain the insane annual climb in fatal crash numbers?

I dont care where your from or what your religious beliefs are but you should have more respect for the dead. Allah Yer7ma. I don’t know who this person is but you should be ashamed of yourself for talking shit about a person who passed away considering the fact that any one of his family members could be reading your comments. And since your alive, well and able to read My comments I’m going to call you out on your extremely idiotic theory on “evolution”. you sir are the “stupid” one and judging by your comments should think about going back to school or perhaps googling Charles Darwin.

Cheers 🙂

Nobu, seriously the only people that we could be better off without, is you. Your sadistic pessimism is bs. For all you know the accident could have been from a lorri crashing and crushing the car, or a popped tire at a normal speed, or whatever. The fact that you very quickly assumed it was a speed related accident proves your shallowness and ultimately stupid inferiority. You then make the most pathetic attempt of a comment thinking ur smart and will gain the few ‘LOLs’ or ‘I agree’, whereas your just disrespectful.

mba, holy crap:

“Driving in Kuwait is hazardous. Although Kuwait has an extensive and modern system of well-lit roads, excessive speeding on both primary and secondary roads, coupled with lax enforcement of traffic regulations and a high density of vehicles (one vehicle for every 2.8 residents), leads to frequent and often fatal accidents. In 2006, the government of Kuwait reported 60410 vehicular accidents with 460 deaths and 9100 serious injuries. However, these numbers are approximations and the actual numbers are believed to be much higher. The average age of death was between 21 and 30 years. There are now over one million motor vehicles registered in Kuwait. Incidents of road rage, inattention and distraction on the part of drivers, poor driving skills, and highway brinksmanship are common in Kuwait, and can be unsettling to Western drivers in Kuwait who are accustomed to more rigid adherence to traffic laws.”

mba, can you please give me a web source for those numbers? I’m not doubting you, I know our accident rate per pop is hilariously high, I just want some data to compare against the UAE stats.

Adam, considering our high rate of accidents, driver error it the most probable cause, plus the fact that it’s a high-performance vehicle and the accident took place on the gulf road, where some a-holes like to show off sometimes.

I hope whoever was in the car got out safely.

I have been here 3 months now and I have to say the driving standards here are the worse I have ever seen. I have lived and driven in many countries including in SE Asia but here is far worse.

People drive far to close, too fast, break too late and no respect for other drivers. My drive to work everyday is like a scene out of death race.

And please people put your lights on at night!

Aaaaah~!!! My Heart~!! </3

My sweet baby.. *__* I love this car…wtf is its back end?!!

Allah yshfeeeh or yr7ma.

Full story pweez.

@ Nobu,
the way you see things is so inhumane and cinical. you automatically assume that the driver of the ferrari is to blame, simply because he is driving a ferrari. well in my day i have seen ppl drive other cheap ass cars waay faster than the guy driving the ferrari behind them. so buddy, don’t judge. the major damage shown in the image seems to be from the REAR,, but as i am not the type that assumes before given the dirt, i ain’t gonna start pointin fingers. so lets NOT hate and call the poor guy stupid AND simply pray for him and for the strength of his family who might be going through hell (even if he made it) right now..

people.. What happened to freedom of speech?
I think anyone would call this guy stupid weather he survived or not.. Imagine these idiots crashing into your familys car killing your children and family.
These people have no consideration of their own safety let alone other peoples safety. Showing off is their number one priority. I blame their parents also for buying their son such fast cars, which are lethal weapons. Stupid and irresponsible.let’s hope he didn’t kill anyone else.

I agree with gen. And Nobu, can’t you just feel sorry for the guy? Or does having a Ferrari makes him a jerk by default?

It was at around 7am at Estqlal St, am guessing he was trying to take a right turn to enter Al Shaab and the Ferrari did not make it, either because of the speed or because of a sewage hole at the turn.
The car went over the pavement, hit a palm tree bursted into flames, i was on my bike going for a ride…parts of the car and the burnt tree are still there.

I live 200 meters from that turn and its a very bad turn especially if ur speeding, there is an accident at least once a week, for some reason all the cars burst into flames!!!

Well if you have a regulation not allowing young kids drive these cars you will not have so many accident. My brother died at age 24 from a Kawasaki 750, and all I can say my brother was stupid for risking his life. The only sadness is for the family or the other people they might kill on their way.
I see them all the time and it is ignorance if you think it is not a problem having 18-25 year old drivers in Machines that only very experianced drivers can handle. If their parents give them these cars, they are giving their children an easy road to heaven.

Honestly, I realize we should have respect for the dead, but I share Nobu’s feelings…

Has anyone thought about the “innocent” that could have been involved, or were in fact involved in this???

Its the same as drunk driving…Most accidents involving drunk drivers does not result in their death, but in someone else’s…

Alot of people have no regard for others’ safety…which makes me far less interested in showing them any kind of respect, dead or alive.

Anyone that has driven anywhere else in the world, then drives in Kuwait will tell you that Kuwaities are the worst drivers ever, it shows in their daily lives. If your at a desk withing with a customer service person, someone will walk up behind you and start asking the customer service person questions. Thats disrepectful as hell, pisses me off. I’m here hes working with me wait you damn turn. Happens at McD’s in line, there are lines dont just walk up there cutting everyone.

All those awful habits of being inconsiderate and not having any patients shows in the awful driving habits. Good thing is you cant correct me because the numbers dont lie and fatalities are up. I look at it this way the more people drive the less awful drivers on the road.

Any before you defend the dead, think about what got them dead and the title of this article “High Speed” Gulf road is only 80, I’m just hopeful the moron didnt kill anyone else and only took his own life for being reckless.

I drive to work that way and you can still see the burnt trees there, where he collided.

A friend pf mine passed by a few minutes after it happened and according to him he saw firefighters there putting out the blaze (of glory??).
But seems some fearless drivers passing by, stopped and pulled out the guy before the firefighters came or else he would have been fried.

The guy was alive but suffered burns all over his arms at first glance.

Interestingly, the ugly ‘car-cass’ was removed from the scene within hours.
@Evil Knievel–It’s not on the Gulf Road.

So to those who got pictures , lucky you!!

hey guys… well there was just one guy in the car named Hamood thts all i heard.. well he survived. the accident took place about 6 am. it took about 10 mins to get him out of the car till the paramedics arrived. his hand and legs were exposed to the fire.. he ramped into the tree opposite flex and oska restaurant.

I lived in Kuwait all my life and have rarely seen a super car as they are called end up in a wreck.. sure Mercs, Beemer your round the mill everyday top of the line luxury cars end up in car wrecks and 9 times out of 10 the reason is speeding. But rarely do you see a car from the super car family. Most of the Ferraris , Lambos, Maseratis you see on the Gulf Road or on the Highways here are cruising never even touching the peak of their awsome power. Most of the time its the jack asses in the cheap ass japanese toy cars or the nuts in their huge souped up SUV’s doing the lets see who is faster on the death race doing the speeding.

Dumb M%$@#%R F%%#@RS flying down the high way playing lets pin my bumper to your ass flashing their lights and crossing over on to the emergency lane to go past you just cause you were just a wee bit too slow to get out of their way.

The poor chap in the Ferrari probably was doing the same thing cruising .. may be some may say showing off .. but why should’nt he ??

Its a beautiful peice of machinery worth showing off and may be he is one of the few previelged souls to own one. To condemn him just because he owns one is blatantly wrong.

But then again this is Kuwait where all possibilities exist.. who knows? may be some one lit a fire under him all of of a sudden on the road and challenged him to a race and he decided to race the SOB having misguided faith in his powerful machine but none of the experience to back it.
For all we know like Adrenaline said the dumb guy probably tried to make a fast turn a way bit to fast at that turn near that open sewage hole he was talking about and lost control ….. who knows??? the only one who does is the poor soul who was driving and the others who were involvled in the this horrible mess.

All we know for sure is that a beautiful work of art and machinery is destroyed beyond repair and a human being or beings are injured or GOD FORBID dead.

Any ways I hope the driver of the Ferrari and all those injured are doing allright and if unfortunately they have passed on I pray to our Lord that their souls may rest in peace and that HE will be a source of comfort and peace to their greiveing families.

farrari a beautiful peace of machinery.. Yeah right.. I think a human being is a better peace of “machinery”.. How dehumanizing can u get glorifying a a car rather than a human life or the life of innocent others!!!

Hey sfsa78

Excuse me!!!!!!!!!!! This comment below got you so worked up ?????

“All we know for sure is that a beautiful work of art and machinery is destroyed beyond repair and a human being or beings are injured or GOD FORBID dead.”

I dont think I dehumanised any one with my comment or overly glorify a car. I appreciated it yes…… but did not scream about it from the roof tops

I simply stated 3 facts which were

A – A Ferrari is a beautiful peice machinery and a work of art because primarily a GROUP of HUMAN BEINGS WITH BRAINS AND A LOVE FOR ART AND POWER painstakingly design and build BY HAND ….. that beautiful automobile that we see and drool over on our roads!!

B – That peice of art and a mark of human workmanship was DESTROYED completely because the driver got a sudden shot TESTOSTERONE. ( Check Marks Pics for proof)

and finally

C- A person or persons were injured or God forbid dead. Take a look at that crash pic again .. COULD YOU HAVE HONESTLY LOOKED AT THAT PIC AND NOT THINK THAT NO ONE WAS?????

Now I admit thanks to comment 44 from aadel we now know that the driver was not killed ….. Thank God…… but he was seriously burnt and injured.

And thanks to your final comment you want the poor chap to be prosecuted .. its not enough for you to know that he is maimed for life… you want him to rot behind bars as well !!!

Do you know the facts of the causes that led to the accident?? It could have been anything… a blow out, a fellow idiot clipped the bugger from behind, may he just lost control……. ANYTHING!!!!! Ever heard of the line Innocent until proven Guilty .. Who elected you Judge, Jury and Executioner??

For a person who got all uptight over another person appreciating a beautifull peice of engineering you sure have a funny way of showing compassion to your felow HUMAN BEING

First and foremost, that exit (30 right past the on-ramp from Estiqlal near the New Park towards Kuwait City) is extremely dangerous – even at low rates of speed in any car. It is a difficult angle to negotiate – especially if people are flying up behind you from the on-ramp at very fast speeds. I have often said that they need to change the exit there somehow.

How many accidents have to happen at certain spots in Kuwait and how many injuries have to take place before the “planners” and “road designers” do something about it?

I don’t just blame speeders. It is easy to speed if you have a fast car, no one is there to enforce the speed limit, and the road is designed to let you go faster. Kuwait has a distinct problem with planning. Road engineers can design to make drivers slow down or help them negotiate a turn. Who designed the exit where the Ferrari crashed?

I saw the aftermath when the car was removed and it had to be very bad.

I hope the guy/girl is ok by the way.

The more thought I give to it, and having seen the destruction to the area in the aftermath, I think what probably happened was that the guy wasn’t even taking the turn. He was probably zig-zagging through traffic on 30 and got log-jammed in traffic; then hit the curb, then hit the tree. That’s my guess. He had to be going pretty fast to do the damage I saw to the area – way too fast to take the turn. The damage is on the right (passenger) side and not the left – making me think that he was going straight on 30 rather than making the turn. Just a guess from an armchair cowgirl.

I was an eye witness to this accident. The guy was drunk i guess he was coming back from a party and he rammed into the tree and the car was on fire , the fire fighters and the paramedics arrived after 20 mins and took approx abt 10 mins to get him out. i have few pictures of the trees aswell will send it to mark soon. The guy surrvived the accident with few burns on his body. When the accident took place one of his friends passed by and saw the car and he went to him and said in arabic ” oh hammod how many times i told you not to drink and drive but u never listen” thats all i heard.

I blame this on preferential treatment by the local cops, an unregulated traffic system and irresponsibility… all of which , if implemented properly, would create disciplined , informed and educated drivers.

Well since the accident was caused by drunken driving…all those who posted against Nobu…tellin him he didnt know what he was talking about need to eat their words or ought to take it back!

Nobu…glad you stood your ground!

This is just extremely sad. If he doesn’t care for his own life, what’s going to keep the rest of us safe on the road? What about his family who were so close to losing him that day? So many youths are dying these days, if you’re going to drink, don’t drive. Simple. And even when you’re sober, don’t speed. Because you could end up killing someone elses loved ones.
You’d think people would learn.

This is what happens when people drive like maniacs to show off……. I see it all the time, and for what? All they do is put themselves in danger and even worse they put other innocent drivers around them in danger by driving extremely fast, running red light, darting in and out of lanes, changing lanes recklessly and not using signals….. I have no pity for this because it was probably the drives fault…. Think about it people, high speed crash on GULF ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The speed limit is 80 km an hour!!! 80 KM……. Like I said, I have no pity for the driver I just hope that he or she didn’t injure or kill any other innocent people in other vehicles because of his or her stupidity…… Gulf Road is not a highway it is a road…….. The people on here with pity for the wreck are probably people who drive just as crazy…. Still talking on phones while driving recklessly, driving fast on hwy 30 with a baby in your lap while you are steering and either talking on the phone or smoking a cigarette with baby still in lap and kids jumping around in the back seat, or maybe going in and out of lanes because it is more important to take your hands off of the steering wheel to adjust your Gotra “sorry for the wrong spelling.” What one chooses to do to themselves and the people they are with is there business but once you endanger innocent bystanders because of your reckless behavior then that is when it is not acceptable and totally selfish and inconsiderate! I’m not trying to offend anyone; I’m just trying to open some eyes because nothing will change as long as most turn a blind eye to these matters…
