Fiat 500 first drive

I’ve got the Fiat 500 with me for the weekend to try out and so far my first impression is that it’s a really fun little car. I took the picture above this morning and have a couple of more which I will post with my proper write up.

thanks, it’s another photo i’ve added to stonedversion.com

I figured if I add one photo every now and then in a year or two I should have a nice collection.

You should use the wordpress theme that i use for my portfolio.. I think it is a perfect portolio theme.. mine is still not perfectly ready but you’ll get the idea.. I will send you the link in the contact us form.. cheers

I couldn’t find any theme that is better than the one i am using. Not even using wordpress. I wanted very limited functionality, no comments, no enlarging images and something very clean and simple.

Awesome site, why dont you add a few sentences for each photo describing the situation, mood etc. of the photo? Do you prefer leaving it to the viewer’s imagination instead?

I don’t know about the 500, so i’ll rely on your judgment. But these cars and especially if there turbo charged are the reason why men love to drive forget about all those big v8 or v12 monsters.

Mark, please post detailed pictures of interior as well. Also, please detail your experience pressing the accelerator to full throttle when its idle 😀

Of course its a fun car to drive, probably good quality and reliability too…

BUT that doesn’t mean we should recommend it for people to go and buy it. Problem with this kind of cars is the after service. People will have to pay arm and leg to get the simplest things fixed only because spare parts are only available at the dealership and dealership would charge 3000 percent over the original parts price!!

My most recent experience is based on Renault (Al Babtain), but that will definitely apply to all other dealerships in Kuwait. A friend of mine had Alfa Romeo and he suffered from same thing though it was different dealership.

I like how you’re complaining about the Fiats spare parts being high priced when they haven’t even opened yet. I buy all my Beemer and Toyota parts from the dealer and their prices are similar to the prices abroad.

Very cool car indeed but Not safe to drive in Kuwait, you will get run over by a Land Cruiser, Range Rover, or other BEAST…
