First Nissan GT-R in Kuwait?

Nissan GT-R

My friend just snapped a picture of the new Nissan GT-R filling up petrol at the Mansoriya gas station. The GT-R is a US import and I am assuming its the first one in Kuwait. Pretty cool.

in the british TV show fifth gear when they reviewed it, Jason (the presenter) said that it cost’s 30000 pounds in Japan, and when it arrives in the UK next year it will cost twise as that.

Mark- the guys told me the GTR your seeing costs 23K..
It will arrive the UAE mid july and will be sold for AED42000 (KD30,000)
So we might be expecting prices to go up for a while before Supply is sufficient
One drawback though is that they are all US Specs, even the ones from the dealer

here are the facts … its not out in the usa yet
3 cars and are sold in kuwait from wekala another 3 are on the way end of june another batch in july
price 30,000 kd

Guys, here is some good news from inside about this japanese beast.

Yes, this is the 1st one in kuwait and if you pay attention its still with commercial plates [user couldn’t wait for his plates to come ou].

Cost around 40K KD, actually some customers offered this guy 60K KD for his car, beleive it or not he REFUSED!!.

in a week time you will see more and different colors.

it will be available for sales early 2009 for anyone, until now its for VVIP only.

ENJOY IT.

Nissan Fan.

Evo 9 can’t compete with this Nissan. GTR is really one mean racing machine. There was a rumour that this car was banned in Kuwait because it was considered dangerously powerful. Any thoughts on that anyone?

GTR is $ 70k Base price- if babtain is charging KD30,000 they are purely mad. Hopefully its just based on the high demand, and to throw this kind of money towards a Jap sports car, even for a stock motor (although admittely the fastest stock engine to date)- is nuts.

The car should be KD18000 which is is 257.000 AUD, according to Wheels magazine (based in Dubai).

Point at hand too is that the GT-R is available only through officially certified Nissan dealers that have met a number of strict sales, service and facilities commitments, including dedicating a master technician to GT-R service which could be why there is such a huge price increase, because I doubt the average mechnic would be capable of servicing this car.

Pick up a second hand one for KD11,000 instead and follow a cult 🙂

And to set the record straight, 1,700 of these 450HP beasts were delivered to the US post July 7th and have been availabe in Australia since last year already.

Why did Nissan GTR are few in Kuwait so what’s the matter because it’s my dream car you know and I can’t wait to get it
