Just found out that Alshaya are bringing Garrett’s Popcorn to Kuwait. According to my source it seems Alshaya accidentally leaked this news in an internal company memo ahead of time.

I love the popcorn that I still buy at my local cooperative at Farwaniya. It’s been more than 15 years and I hope it never goes away. I would be devastated should that happen.
why they don’t just learn the concept and apply it locally, why all royalties should go outside and plus every year prices will hike because of increase in royalties when quality is pit’s falling. these franchises are just so stupid and lame
@ Gizmoshow, in kuwait, its th brand that sells, the popcorn could literally have been crap, but people want to be seen with garrots bags and buckets. so its easy money for shaya.
I’m a little skeptical about this “leak”, since Garret is a family run business and doesn’t franchise.
