come on guys… give them some encouragement….

we can’t be perfectionists!!! they did their best with what they had!!!!

its not them, its just us. too difficult for us to absorb it. we liked the one by Zain because it used a song that we love and performed our traditional dances by locals.

Destroyed the brand of Holiday Inn! Im positive that IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) haven’t approved this!

I love how all the managers with their big bellys are just standing around ‘waiting’ for the flash mob to start

Cringe worthy…

But on the plus side it has brighted up this dusty Thursday afternoon 😀

How is this a flash mob when people were on the side before they started with phones out and ready?

I liked the shoulder moving guy. Not ma95ara enough to fully commit to the communal dance ritual, but just cool enough to do a little stationary shoulder wiggling.

I’m guessing this is one of those things that’s only entertaining when you’re there. Watching it after the fact is just cringe-worthy.

Em… I wouldn’t call this a flashmob. I would call it a hotel’s stupid attempt at getting free publicity by hiring foreign workers to dance in their lobby.

NOT IMPRESSED.

The Zain flashmob was so much better! It was primarily made up of Kuwaitis – which made it seem natural and not cheesy – and people standing around were all happy and smiling. This one makes me want to go take a shower. It is kind of like – ICK! have I just been violated?

lol wait. Zain’s flashmob was better because it was primarily made up of Kuwaiti’s, which automatically means it’s not cheesy and natural? So foreigners can’t act naturally and everything they do is cheesy? lol.

It’s not that Zain’s flashmob was backed by a company who hired better people? Who had more money to spend? Who had better resources?

As it is the case with all ‘staged flash mobs’ at least a few of the performers, if not all, have some sort of theatre and stage background. Obviously they are paid as well.
These are probably real staff members who planned and rehearsed this over their lunch break and performed half assedly.

So Silly! No wonder the managers did it to show their face in this clip.
I can’t imagine that there are people who think in this way.

Laughing.Out.Loud! I laugh-cringed so much I just could not watch it till the end. I felt the video was more of a aerobic fitness routine than anything else :S

Haram – i think its a good effort and well it’s not easy to co-ordinate such a thing – and definitely they didnt have the money and funds and experts that Zain had – but it looks like actual staff which makes it all the better (I LOVE the ZAIN ones) – good for them!
