We were at Kuwait Towers and it was a real blast! Fantastic job that blew everyone away. Proud to have watched an event like this live.
But hope the cops would’ve done a better job after it was all over – it would help had they been proactive and guided people out of Kuwait City rather than just sit in their cars with lights on and playing on their phone. Cars weren’t moving an inch for an hour.
The music was amazing. Do you know if we could get it somewhere?
I think one way to get the music would be to talk with anyone that was involved in the show. And hopefully they could help.
Also did anyone notice that the fireworks sound were in sync with the music. Amazing job and attention to details.

You can tell that Red V missed the show and is really regretting it.
Just curious – the Kuwait TV said the show was going to be 1 hour 4 minutes. But when the show started on their channel, the time in the upper corner said 20:11:16 (give or take a few seconds as to whether they count the lighting of the first firework or the explosion of it).
When the show was finished, it was 21:13 and some seconds – so not 1 hour 4 minutes. Just curious if they got the Guiness record, and if they planned a few extra minutes, just in case.
The record was on number of fireworks actually if you heard the lady speaking while giving the award. She mentioned around 77,282 appx fireworks were done.
Btw did anyone notice something caught close to the Bridge near chilli’s ?
and One of the setup near friday also caught fire at the end.
They sacrificed themselves to entertain people (The setup on the sea)

what a waste of 14.7 million dollars, i can think of 4 better ways were that money could’ve been spent to improve Kuwait
1. infrastructure
2. power
3. the people

other than point 4 i have to disagree. Infrastructure and power have their own budgets which are a lot more than just 4 million kd. if they’re not spending it wisely or not spending it at all you can’t blame another department who is using their budget wisely.
regarding point 3, the people are already being taken care of and 4 million split amongst all the kuwaitis would end up with a McDonalds combo for everyone.
well then budgets need to be rethought in favour of social programs directed at all the things Kuwait has been lacking – in particular human rights for certain classes of expats. There are thousands of people living below poverty level in Kuwait and even though that is largely the fault of private companies, the government has spent next to nothing on things that really matter while still implicitly supporting slavery which helps this state run.
fuck the fireworks – im sure pre-civil war america had things they were proud of that were ultimately worth nothing.
