A reader sent me two pictures of a very long queue at Geant right now. Seems they have an offer on Samsung 1080 phones, they’re selling it for KD1 and that includes when you buy a KD5 phone line.

Geant has been having some wacky offers… the other day we wanted to go to 360 Mall but found a monster queue of cars and people coming out with Geant bags filled with Tide
I received the offer by email. If you buy a 5 KD line , you get the phone for 1 KD.
WTF is right, you have to pay 5+1 KD….
So /that’s/ why it was so crowded today.
Knowing many expat friends, I think they’re thnkful for this since they can’t really afford high tech phones and need to badget wisely. As long as it does its job right, why not?
So what? This phone blows anyway any you can get phones for -eve KWDs at Carrefour all the time. They always have an offer such as “buy this phone for 8.5 KWD and get 10 KWD talk time.”
