Mark you can close the comments section now. Just copy and paste aaa’s comments till its about 100 or so and you’re all set. 😀
This just in: Due to a computer error, Kuwait was mistakenly placed on the top 10 improving cities list, and was instead suppose to be placed on the top 10 decaying cities list.
My prediction was spot on. Mark I am taking over your blog while I’m in between jobs
lol you’re more than welcomed to as long as you don’t get me deported
Making fun/joking is not a hate comment.
Then how come we don’t feel that??!!!!
The report’s accuracy depends on what factors they chose to rate a place to live in.
If i rate the Infrastructure, finance & stability i would say kuwait is a good place than many other cities in the world.
But if you consider Justice, fairness,Discrimination and Human rights i would rate kuwait as bad. Kuwait seriously needs to improve its Humans rights towards Expats and end discrimination.

Loool what? Kuwait has more justice, fairness and equality than 99.9% of the Gulf.. I don’t know what planet you live on. Expats in Dubai are practically slaves. Women in Dubai have no rights and get raped. Girls in Bahrain as young as 9 get raped by police and get away with it. Bahrain is a mess. Saudi Arabia is a joke. Qatar has serious Wahhabi issues. Kuwait is the most liberal country in the region and among the most liberal and open in the Arab world and Middle East. Women’s rights in Kuwait are among the best in the Middle East, female equality is better than in Lebanon and Egypt.
except in the deepest part of our hearts, we know that the decay part is true
It says city not country..
just to check, where did everyone see Kuwait being among the top 10?
I’ve been here since 1997. It has certainly gotten better.
There are many cities with far more crippling problems than Kuwait, yet they are more livable simply because they have enough nightlife, culture and entertainment to keep their populations happy
Kuwait City has so much potential to be a fun place to live, but sadly everything is “haram”. And then they scratch their heads wondering why Kuwaitis escape in droves every weekend
Nothing is haram in Kuwait. Alcohol is easily available. The alcohol ban is loosely enforced.
Oh man the list is right Vienna deserves to be in 2nd place. I swear there couldn’t be any safer and more fun enviroment and such a friendly population than here in Vienna. I mean Singapore would be a laughing stock towards Vienna man!
