Wayne Carini from the Discovery Channel show Chasing Classic Cars was in Kuwait last February for the Concours d’Elegance and since then I’ve been watching every episode hoping to catch the one on Kuwait. Well turns out Kuwait won’t be showing up until this fall according to a source of mine. Once it does get released I’ll link it on the blog but for now here is an interview Wayne did at Marina Crescent when he was in Kuwait. [YouTube]

I was at the Councours d’Elegance with my husband. We were checking out the classic collection when I looked at a short little guy on my right before I told my husband, “Isn’t that the guy from your show Chasing Cars?” 😛 My husband said hello and I took a picture of them. He was really nice though (and MUCH shorter than I imagined!)
My son & I spotted him there also and went over and introduced ourselves as fans of the show. He couldn’t have been nicer and spent maybe 10 minutes just chatting with us about the amazing cars he had seen “just out being driven” here in Kuwait. Amazingly he hadn’t been told about the museum in Shuwaikh!!!
I was in Bahrain for an open track day, and came back to catch Councours d’Elegance. but I met and interviewed Valentino Balboni instead since Wayne was already leaving.
Hope to get someone new next year
