Kuwait School’s in the 1960s

A reader emailed me to tell me that while collecting newspapers and magazines from the late 50’s he found an article about schools in Kuwait in the 1960’s. He managed to scan and email me the article (it’s a few pages long) and I put them together in a single PDF to make it easier to download and view. The article is in Arabic and here is the [Link]

Does anyone recognize the school in the picture above on the right side?

Thanks Camil

Should the title not be “Kuwait Schools in the 1960s” rather than “Kuwait School’s in the 1960s”?

You seem to have a rogue apostrophe.

in page 5 of the PDF file, the photo of the Kuwaiti flag (the morning assembly) its taken in Shuwaikh elementary school in Shuwaikh residential or Called Shuwaikh B, they have renamed the school to become “abdulaziz Hussain” also the photo in page 7 of the PDF, the gym photo also taken in the same school, I used to go to this school in the late 70’s early 80’s

In 1960’s I lived in AHMADI, studied in Fahaheel ,and Pakistani Private school MISS FATIMA SCHOOL.Anyone knows that time or remember?

I lived in Kuwait 1959-63 and went to Shuwaik school. I remember driving through Fahaheel on our way to Mena Abdullah My father was head of Aminoil office in Kuwait City. We lived near American Embassy

Anybody has any pictures of the India Pakistan school from the 60 s and also the surrounding residential area of Al Ahamadi in Kuwait
