Lion on a boat in Kubbar

According to LWDLIK the picture was taken by a friend of theirs this weekend at Kubbar. Not sure who’d want to be on a small boat in the middle of the sea with a lion on board… [Link]

Update: P0ach has more pictures of the lion [Here]

Ahhh Gulf countries need Animal protection laws so bad!

First this zoo in Riyadh where a Bear is kept in the same cage for 10 years..(https://observers.france24.com/content/20120615-images-zoo-horrors-riyadh-wild-animals-small-cages-saudi-arabia-petition-bear-lion-photo-video-fantasy-land )

And now lions and tigers kept as pets,i’ve seen images pop out so frequently!

These are wild animals and deserve to be in a Jungle! 🙁

On the other hand people please visit that Link and sign the petition to close the zoo,it would mean a lot and it would end the suffering of those animals!

Sorry Mod for posting a link of another blog,Sorry but this petition really needs to get through!

اتمني اي واحدعنده جذي حيونات تهجم عليه عشان يمكن حزتهااصير انعاش حق مخة ان هذي موحيوانات اليفة

seriously what a sick mind just hope that if he’s gana hurt anyone plz let it be his owner

Q:”Not sure who’d want to be on a small boat in the middle of the sea with a lion on board”

A: An utter A**hole who should be in jail for animal abuse.

A lot people are owning tigers, lions, and cheetahs as pets. Some day this pet will kill, or seriously injure him. Just like what happened with Roy Horn of Siegfried and Roy. They raised Tigers for such a long time, yet one teg bit Roy on the neck and almost killed him. Crazy.

I doubt you see it in mangaf abd this lion is a part of a animal protection group. Which protect spotted lioness and please do not jump to conclusions like all of you know something about taking care of wild animals this type of lion is almost extinct and the pierson that took bibi up to his 72 ft yacht is funding the animal protection of spotted lions with a generous offer each years i see one of you are paying up lots and lots pf money to keep them alive your just arguing like old ladies on a blog saying you dont like this and this but some people pay for what te admire and try to save them from extinction!
Plz again dont talk too much before knowing the situation!

Sorry, but I think of the welfare of the animals first and if their owners are injured by an animal that is clearly not in its natural habitat; that’s just natural selection.

It makes me sick to see these people who think it is “cool” to own exotic/wild animals when clearly, they are out of their element.

Unfortunately, for every one of us that says how stupid that is and how insecure and attention-seeking the owner must be, there are 10 people out there who would “OHHHH” and “AAAAHHHH” at the lion and be impressed by the owner. Until “pet” owners like this person get nothing but ridicule, it will keep happening.

Well I hope the lion gets pissed off enough to tear out a big chunk from those people. Also, anyone else getting a ‘Life of Pi’ déjà vu?

The owner must be a huge Madagascar fan. Thought he’d re-enact a scene with a real lion.. Lol.

But no seriously jokes aside I totaly agree with Haitham. It doesnt matter.. the mere fact that people are discussing this topic is most likely giving this Jerk of an owner a good chuckle.. Like they say no such thing as bad publicity. And the owner and friends of the owner who recognise the beast most likely must be basking in all the attention. We feel pity for the poor animal who is stuck on a boat away from his home and natural enviroment. The owner on the other hand is getting a kick out of it because his cat is the topic of interest and discussion on one of the regions most popular blogs.

Sorry to say but that lion looks like its mind is getting stimulated by being there. Not like a lion you see bored at a zoo, this lion probably eats better than most readers of this blog.

You guys are sayig things and you dont know if its true or not?! How do u know that the owner wants attention or if he is abusing their pet?
Okay!! Its weird to have a pet lion or what ever!? How about those people who have dogs that bite and dont train them ! Its the same thing ! I see the owner as brave !!

Regardless of what (probably stupid) reason that Lioness is kept for, it should NOT be on a fucking small boat tied up around a bunch of random people, it’s just unnatural and dangerous for everyone including the poor animal.

Also, It’s a wild animal that can kill you with 1 swipe by accident playing around not a domesticated pet that might bite you if you severely abuse it. Thanks to thousands of years of a little thing we call EVOLUTION. It’s not the same thing for anyone with even half a brain.

And the owner is not brave, he’s just a dickhead for doing this even if he thinks he loves animals and is simply misguided as someone mentioned. Just leave wild animals to nature and pros that know how to deal with them. If you want to help animals do stuff that helps a whole species etc. not force one into captivity just to be your tiny penis extension.

Couldn’t have said it any better….people here love attention (in the wrong way), simply pathetic.
If the guy really wanted to protect this animal, he wouldn’t be parading it in this sun!

“or is he abusing their pet”

Here’s a clue – a boat in Kuwait is not the natural habitat for a lion.

hey guys, i dnt knw whats up with u all, the lioness is a great pet and u all are getting very sarcastic, dont judge a book by its cover. she was raised with kids and people. 🙂

There is no mystery book to judge here AMS, just crappy pics of mild animal abuse.

You cannot own wild animals unless you build a zoo for them and KEEP THEM THERE, not show them off on your daddy’s lenj. You love them and want to play with them, fine do it in the zoo or in their natural habitat the jungle, if you’ve got the balls instead of just the money.

Why didn’t the photographer include the name of the boat? That way we could insult the donkey by name.

@Ams raised with people and kids so that makes it ok huh????? A lioness is a wild animal by nature and has wild insticts primary of which is an instinct to survive and protect it self from harm; it has no understanding of right and wrong. Add to the scenario a bunch of snot nosed kids who know no better and let them play around with the big cat then what ?? What happens God Forbid if a child in all his/her innocence unknowingly hurts the animal..lets just say for effect stamps down on its its tail or something? And the lioness insticntively without thought just lashes out and the kid gets maimed for life or worse dies then what?? You ae gonna stand there and tell us ..Oh.. Haram. Why did the animal attack them?? That it was so friendly it was raised around those kids and people…. Epic Stupidness !! thats what it is. Or like Haitham said; a miserable way to treat SPS ( Small Penis Syndrome)

Pardon my zoology but can’t tell for sure, if that’s a lion or a lionness! Anyway does that thing belong to the Shark of Kuwait?
At this rate, I wouldn’t be too surprised spotting a lioness and her cubs roaming Avenues Phase III, as if they were in the wild.
