Missed out on White Castle burgers

Blushberry posted around a week ago that Sultan Center had brought a small stock of frozen White Castle Cheeseburgers and that they quickly went out of stock. For some reason I had a feeling if I passed by Sultan Center today I would find them (I was just really hungry). Sadly I didn’t find any White Castle burgers, just the ones above. Sucks.

I noticed they started getting Chicago Gourmet Steaks. The brand sounds familiar but I don’t remember from where. Two t-bone steaks for a combined weight of 800grams is for around KD10.

You’re not missing much, the frozen burgers are not that good. But they are good FROZEN burgers thats all. and stay with the healthier life style. It suits you 🙂

Does it have any indication whether it is halal or not?

I noticed that sultan center is selling some food products (meats or other products containing animal flesh) without an indication whether if it is halal or not.

good to know.

but personally, it reminds me of the time I saw a halal sticker on frozen fish, it was imported from Thailand.
(but that was in a normal co-op, not in sultan center)

I think Sultan’s main concern is to show that they have the best (whether its halal or not) grocery products in Kuwait.

Mark, They Still Have Some Of White House Mini Burgers at The New Sultan Center in Jabrya, I bought some from there two days ago

i was wodering the same thing about the “halalness” of certain meat products in Sultan. I got a bag of tyson’s chicken nuggets that were literally identical to the ones’ I used to get in the states, without the sticker of course… But my question is it legal to bring in these foods or do people just not give a damn anymore?
