I called up Sushi KW around 1PM and placed my order to be delivered at 4:30. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp, Snow, TamTam, Mix Maki, Salmon Sushi and Crab Sushi.
My order arrived on time which was cool since I was starving. The packaging was decent and came with soy sauce, a spicy mayo dip, ginger and chopsticks. I quickly chowed my way through everything but when I was done I wasn’t impressed. From the bunch I ordered I think Snow was the worst while everything else tasted just average. The price is cheap, the whole thing cost me only KD11.250 but I would rather pay a bit more and get something from Wasabi instead.

You must eat aftar mgarb habeeeby this why foood not tasty
On the other hand i didn’t enjoy it at all. The rice was overcooked and there was too much of it everywhere, and there was a pretty weird taste in most of the rolls we ordered..
Mark and Nat, go try the sakura buffet today! 😀
never tried it but i think its a good idea that they have a website, its easier to order while looking at the menu
You didn’t find hair in it?
I see ChoowyGoowy cookies D=
yummmyyyy i love sushi ;p
Which restaurant has the best unagi?
Dude .. Wasabi !!!! are you kidding me ?? you really should try Ginki at Raya mall ITS THE BEST.
I tried Ginki, still prefer wasabi
i prefer kie! best sushi ;*
Kei used to be my favorite but then I found hair and I stopped going. 6 months later I went back and guess what, I found hair again! never went back…
Mark u r right wasabi is the best and my favourite too.
try satchi!! its the most delicious food EVER. and reasonable.
its fresh crisp and always on time.
Mark, Which Kei? Because the Kei in Salhiya is, in my opinion, far better than the one in Marina!
My favourite is also Wasabi. We eat there once a fortnight at least – and I’ve tried their Abu Halifa, Kuwait City and Bida branches. Very uniform quality.
Now I’m hungry!
Kei is the best Japanese restaurant my-favorite!!!!!
My bad experience with Kei was at Marina.
I like Edo, Genki, Wasabi! In that order
You should still visit the Salhiya one then. Never a hair out of place there!
The clients, and therefore the management, are very different to Marina.
Yeah been there twice before. I used to visit the marina one since it’s near my house.
When I miss japanese food, I go to Kei and eat chirashi sushi. Other creative sushi are not really what we have in japan although I have to admit some of them are tasty.
But people, I gotta tell you, japanese food is not all about sushi & tempra! We’ve got LOTS OF nice food other than sushi!
Go try Kaizen, its a small joint in Salmiya next to Fresh, taste is great.
They are also opening next month at the Avenues.
oH yeah! comment 15! iv been craaavviiinnng their maki’z for days now!
Sushi club all the way:)
Nat , you nailed my point !
that’s what i exactly said to the person in charge, he promised me with a free coupon for next time . As if i’m gonna risk trying it again !

i just founded that kei has a usefull website
https://www.kei-restaurant.com/
i don’t eat chinese or japanies or thai
but i noticed choowy goowy jar:P
no one likes maki?
https://napket.com/ anyone tried this they opened in avenues
Why did Napket open in Kuwait? It’s not suitable for our market.
I don’t think there is one place in Kuwait serves a GOOOOOOD Sushi, I think you should go out more..
maki still the best for me in kuwait. tried kei not as good as maki
Never heard of Napket, but that website is laughable. ‘Snob food’, ‘Made by hand’. Oh, dear.
Go try Kaizen, it is the best.
hey guys, you have to try the KYOTO rolll at Kaizen,,,, its WoW.,,,,,,,,,,,, if you like sashimi order the Kaizen special sashimi!!! lovely sauce, mmmmmmmmmmm

guys, you should try the REAL Japanese Food @ The Shogun Lounge, it’s at the Palms Hotel. aside from the authentic makis and sushis, they also have the popular Donburri…
and they deliver !!!!!!!!!!
In my opinion the ‘Sushi Club’ has the best sushi in Kuwait . It’s a small restaurant but the sushi is absolutely amazing. Try American Maki and the Rainbow Maki (my favourite two makis) you really won’t be disappointed.
hmmm i really love wasabi in terms of food the staff is too much friendly…the tepanyaki show..the trained sushi chef they usually train in japan!!!!even the staff speaks japanesse…so i eat d food that i used to eat in guro guro sushi in japan….gambatte neh WASABI!!!
