they updated the digital media laps in our university (AUS school of architecture& design) all into the new iMacs i hvn’t noticed any difference yet its only been once that i hv used it anyhow but they look awesome !

First of all, Apple apply Tax on whatever you buy from their store. If you’re going to buy the imac from them, you’re gonna have to pay $200+ for tax. It’s gonna weigh 15 pounds, that’s another $200 to ship it to kuwait. Oh, and remember the new customs rules in Kuwait. I just paid 30 KD today for 4 magazines shipped from my mailbox in america. I paid that for the customs fee, not the shipping fee! You’re gonna have to pay 50-60 kd for customs.
So please go buy it online, and lets see which one is more expensive. I bought the 24 and the 20 BTW from iCity. I also have the older version one (the big one).
I bought the cheapest model at Amazon.de a month ago at 1.150 Euros including 20% VAT.
Very nice item, especially if you watch TV with the Eye TV satellite receiver on your imac and use it as PVR!

I just bought one from Bahrain: 20″, 2.0 for 585Bahraini Dinars, which is 438.750KD. Oh, and they replaced the English keyboard with Arabic/English one for me.. it’s amazing!

oh and moey the 24″ comes in a standard 2.4 GHZ or up to 2.8. the 2.0 however does not exist.
