The Central Bank of Kuwait just released images of the newly designed Kuwaiti Dinars at a press conference a short while ago. The photo above is taken from the video presentation and clearly shows the new designs. First impression, I like them.
Thanks Asrar
Update: Another friend just sent me the below images of the new currency.
Thanks Mana3ee

Hey, isn’t that the ugly bank building on the 5KD note? They look a lot more colorful.
yup it is
they’re too confusingly similar to one another… shuffling through old bills will be a problem as they’re all predominantly grey and beige
They’re all too similar. Why change something that works??
UGLY!!

TOO MANY COLORS!
Seems like a copy of Canadian Currency …
While they’re at it can we get rid of the 5 fils and maybe even 10. Countries are getting rid of pennies (0.010) and we still have a half penny (0.005) that nobody ever uses.
The quarter could probably be a coin too.
Oh also is there gonna be a note bigger than 20? Because seriously what currency in the world doesn’t have a bill bigger than $70 of value. People who pay rent in cash have to carry a damn envelope every time
Currency denominations are linked to how strong it is. So, until the Kuwaiti dinar is the strongest, you have to live with it.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO…. i love the old ones… hv been spending them since my childhood :'(
Hehehe, now you get to spend in a more colorful way!
The Arabic (i.e. Indian) numerals look like they were drawn by a kid using a permanent marker.
Whether I like them or not, I value them.
+1
Shockingly, the serial number of all these currency notes is the same as the password of my e-mail accounts and my online banking accounts. How the Central Bank knew of my passwords?
