Lulu are opening a new location in Dajeej Farwaniya right next to Sears. From the outside the location looks pretty huge although I’m not sure if it’s going to end up being their largest branch in Kuwait. What I like about the location though is that it’s closer to Salmiya than their Al Qurain branch which is currently my favorite. This would be their fourth location in Kuwait and according to a worker I spotted on site they should be opening right after Ramadan.

Agreed. Especially American brands. I tend to buy things I grew up with and immediately recognize.
There was only TSC at first, then city centre came along and now Lulu as well…Getting competitive in Dajeej… 🙂
The Al Qurain branch rocks…..
Dajeej is quite jam packed and with Lulu there, it is going to be a complete mess! Did they have to come up there?!
I live in Salmiya an am not sure about it being closer to salmiya as haven’t measured it BUT you try driving to dhajeej at 10am during the week and then compare driving to lulu at Qurain. The drive to Qurain is a lot easier (5,40,208 and there in 15-20 minutes), plus when you get there there is lots of parking, whereas parking in dhajeej is a problem. The land opposite the dhajeej store is small and not theirs, it’s government land, so unless they come to a deal they might have problems using that, and even then alot of that space during the week will be claimed by the government building next door.
BTW the name Lulu has to be changed soon, change might be subtle, but someone owns the brand name in Kuwait.
