I was at Sultan last night when I spotted a new organic corner. What grabbed my attention was the fact they got some new brands including a brand of tea called Clipper which have pretty cool packing you can see below.
I also spotted the Red Bull bottles pictured below in the fridge which reminded me of the Thai Red Bull’s.

you guys need whole foods grocery in q8
I passed by Whole Foods while in NY a few times. They’ve got like the most expensive fucking toast in the world. The cheapest was like 10$ or something. Crazy shit.
I love everything organic, it’s worth the extra cost!
Heh…in San Francisco we call it “Whole Paycheck”.
I’ve never seen this look for redbull before
i have tried this Thai red bull it doesnt taste good . kuwait red bull is better
J: lol good one
reminds meee, I was in San Francisco and I saw that Leftys store you wrote about before. On Pier 39

i wish they open whole food in kuwait. it would be a hit

Ah! Poison in a bottle!
As for the organic corner, why is it always tea!?
How about fruits and some green?
Might still go despite my whining.
People … they sell that very same tea at Al Zahra Co-Op!!
Thuraya Lynn- the organic corner was made by AlYasra Food Company at TSC and teal is our brand’s color that’s why we used it.
AlYasra food company offers many other brands like Yeo Valley, Green & Blacks chocolate, Biona juices, as well as many others. We hope you enjoy them!
Thank you Mark!
Thuraya: They have a organic vegetable section. In the section above it was mostly tea, coffee, some juices, biscuits etc..
Is this Organic Tea Certified by the United States USDA and by SGS Organic Production Standard in accordance to the EU Regulation 2092/91. Dont Judge the Tea by Packing.
@Randy & Shimo
Do you have any idea how much they sell the tea for in the co-op?
Dear Lynn: the price of the Clipper Tea in the COOPs is 0.950 KD.
Guys, you should try Salada white tea bags, organic, made in the US, loved them! white tea is very healthy and it’s like the new trend nowadays, it’s availble at Sultan only
Abdullah: Clipper Tea is certified by the Soil Association which is the most stringient organic certification in the EU. Some of the teas are also Fairtrade. Visit their website at: https://www.clipper-teas.com/
As a health oriented customer, Sultan is #1 for me as it carries so much variety in terms of brands of white tea & green tea & everything else for that matter so I don’t get stuck with the same options as in the COOPS. Recently I discovered a new type of exotic tea being sold @ Sultan from South Africa called Rooibos Tea (Red Bush Tea), try it guys & being born in Australia I was so happy to find Australian Manuka Honey at Sultan! They are also having Shitaake Mushrooms & the list goes on & on. I don’t think there’s anything that Sultan doesn’t have! lol
@ Roula, I tried the Red Bush Tea! I LOVED!!!!
Just went to see it yesterday.
It’s a pretty good collection!!
Thanks for the clarification H and Mark.
